Private double A-frame on 5 acres. Huge sloping lawn (great sledding) with spectacular view of Okemo/ Jackson Gore. 2 bedrooms, 1 1/2 baths plus kids loft sleeps 4 adults and up to 6 with kids. Broadband DSL Internet service with wired and wireless capability, as well as satellite television. Sofa bed sectional couch in great room. Wood stove (with firewood) has glass doors. Amenities also include tub shower, spiral stairs, cathedral ceiling, new carpeting, raised slate floor and air conditioning unit. Kitchen has dishwasher, microwave, toaster oven, coffee makers, ice maker. Large deck has outdoor seating with exterior speakers and Weber charcoal BBQ. Approved pets are OK.

Okemo 4 miles, Jackson Gore 3 miles, Killington 12 miles, Ludlow village 4 miles, Okemo Valley Nordic Center 3 miles, golf course 3 miles. Shopping (including supermarket ) in Ludlow village. House is located on a private drive off of town road. 1 and 1/2 mile drive to Echo Lake and Lake Rescue. For summer fun try Camp Plymouth State Park at Echo Lake. Sand beach, food concession, boat (canoe, paddleboat, rowboat) rentals, fishing, bathrooms, change rooms and plenty of parking. Horseback riding stables (2) are available within 5 miles.

    $400/night Holidays
  • Add 9% VT sales tax to all rentals. $400 refundable security deposit is held for the duration of your stay. Refundable if the house is left in proper order.

    Extra cleaning fees will be charged if the house is left a mess, pets are not cleaned up after properly or for trash left in the house. Trash must be placed in barrels outside and covered.

    1/2 payment of the total reserves you stay and the balance is due 3 weeks prior to your arrival. Payments can be made via PayPal.

    We do NOT accept cancellations.

    Check in is at 5pm on the day of your arrival, check out is at 11am unless prior arrangements have been made.

    A cleaning fee of $60 will be added to your stay if minimum nights are not met. This is with owners approval only.

A Great Place to Relax in Comfort

My wife and I had a wonderful peaceful time at this cozy, tastefully appointed chalet home. The view from the living room of Okemo mountain and the exqusite fall foilage was postcard perfect.

Home is clean, attractive and provides an opportunty to commune with nature at its best.

A great rental experience

My wife and I truly enjoyed the chalet in every way ! As imagined, the view is amazing. One evening of our stay, we were treated to a fast moving thunderstorm, that was viewed perfectly through the large windows facing Okemo.
We recommend this property to anyone looking for a quiet and peaceful retreat.

Great house in great surroundings
We arrived late Saturday afternoon, and found this lovely house in the woods.
Lights were on and we felt as home from the first moment
We enjoyed a relaxing stay, “far away” in the woods, but still close to Ludlow, where we could by our groceries, and found a nice restaurant. ( look in the Guestbook)

We had a great time at the Chalet! What breathtaking views of Okemo Mnt! Thank you so much for being a pet friendly home. Our two dogs had a wonderful time and especially loved the huge grassy yard. We enjoyed many hikes including the short walk to Buttermilk Falls right in Ludlow. We also enjoyed the many surrounding spots to kayak!
