House Details:
Inside, the top floor consists of a new full bathroom and a large open space combining the living and dining rooms and an eat-in kitchen with island. The wall facing the lake is only windows, with double doors opening to a large top terrace from the living room. The middle floor has the master & guest bedrooms, both with two single beds that can be combined. There is a small room with a single bed and/or baby crib. The full bath includes shower, bidet, and double vanity. Both bedrooms open onto a large middle terrace, where stairs lead to the lawn and lakefront. Here there is a detached minicasa guest house with two single beds and a half bath (included in rental price). A buoy for boats in the lake directly in front of the house can be rented for 100 Euro/wk. As the property is joined with another house, the owner kindly requests that common courtesy is observed when neighbors are present.

Two restaurants within walking distance of the house, located on the water's edge in San Vito: Lumin (pizzeria/bread in the morning) and Ristorante La Baia (casual restaurant). Information on shopping, hiking trails, and public villas available at the well-run tourist Information point in Menaggio, or on request from the owner, who knows the lake well since buying an apartment in Menaggio in 2000, and provides a local info guide to all confirmed guests.
