The two story house has a total of 4 bedrooms which will sleep 8 quite comfortably. The bedroom on the first floor has a queen bed. The 3 bedrooms on the second floor are furnished with a double, a single, and a double and single bed respectively. There are 2 futons in the living room to round out the sleeping accommodations. The house is within walking distance to the Village of Oquossoc and 8 miles to the Village of Rangeley.
Ski: Saddleback Mountain is an easy 20 minute drive from the cottage on the south side of the village of Rangeley. The mountain was recently purchased and the new owners have completely renovated and expanded the base lodge, have added new lifts and condominiums. A hotel is planned for the near future. Lift tickets remain at their traditionally low family rates.
Golf: There are two public golf courses within an easy drive from the cottage. The first, older and more established course is located off of Rt 4 at the Country Club Inn. This course is situated in a rolling environment with great views of the mountains and lakes. The Country Club Inn has a '19th' hole for refreshments and tall tales. The Inn also offers a full service restaurant serving breakfast lunch and dinner in the winter and summer months. The second course is located on Dallas Hill Rd at the base of the road to Saddleback Mountain. While relatively new, the course now contains a full 18 holes and a pro shop.
Guest Book: Rangeley also boasts a state of the art Physical Fitness Pavilion with daily or seasonal memberships available for visitors.
