This is a beautifully maintained 2 bedroom unit that sleeps six and offers a large eat-in kitchen, sliders opening to the deck from the living room, oceanview from master bedroom, and parking for three cars or boat. Fernandina Beach on Amelia Island is only 20 minutes from the Jacksonville Airport and 30 minutes from the new Jacksonville cruise ship port. Just south of the Georgia border, only 13 miles from Interstate 95.

Make plans to enjoy surfing, surf fishing, shell and shark tooth hunting and unlimited 'relaxation.' Great centralized location only a bike ride away from Fort. Clinch Park with miles of hiking and bike trails, a 'real fort' and an impressive fishing pier. Oceanfront restaurants, playgrounds, park, city pool, and tennis courts are nearby and several marinas and boat ramps are only minutes away.

Great family escape steps from beautiful beach

We rented both sides of the duplex to accommodate the whole family. Very relaxing atmosphere for lounging or heading to the beach. Enjoyed watching sunrises and sunsets from the balcony and walking along the beach looking for shells, etc. Just walk down the back steps and you are right on the beach. Owner very friendly. The island offered great seafood, barbecue, local pizza establishments - varied dining within driving distance, and easy shopping for groceries, if you like to fix breakfast. Downtown shops were really fun. Also enjoyed local state parks. I would recommend this to family and friends.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Romantic Getaway

The accomodations on Fletcher Ave were great. Being so close to the beach and ocean were just what we were looking for. The unit itself was very clean and fully furnished. Floors were newly tiled and carpeted and all of the furniture was new. We'll definately rent again next year. John & Mary Watts
