For the selective family. This is a beautiful, lakefront property located on Lake Harmony (motor boat lake) between Nick's Lake House and Split Rock. The house boasts of a spectacular lake view and unbeatable location. Please no smoking - no pets. In the summer months rentals are by the week 'only' from friday to friday. Maximum of 10 permitted. This is a 'family' rental property.

Location: Poconos < Pennsylvania < USA

The house is located on a large spring fed, motorboat lake. You can fish, swim, boat or ice skate right from the house. Located only minutes from Big Boulder and Jack Frost ski resorts and a short drive to Camel Back ski resort/beach. Brand new 27 hole public golf course at Split Rock. Less than a mile from numerous restaurants. Additional activities/attractions: Skiing, snow-tubing, snowmobiling, fishing, Penn's Peak, Jim Thorpe, outlet stores, paintball, mountain biking, horseback riding, whitewater rafting, mine tours, hunting, dining, ice skating, etc. In the summer months rentals are by the week only from friday to friday.

Our family had another great relaxing week at Lake Harmony, fortunately the weather was great all week (upper70s/low 80s) while back home it was mid 90s and humid. We wnt hiking on several occations as Jim Thorpe as Hickory Run state park are only a 15min. ride away.
We checked out the water park at Split Rock and it is probably less than 1 yr away from opening (sign said winter 08 opening). Fishing was great for kids as they donot care what they catch, but a passerby in a Kayak told me they stocked the lake with Wallie, bass, pickral, and pike. (I think he was on the lake council). House is as advertised and had plenty of room.
