  • The master bedroom has a magnificent cathedral ceiling with large ensuite, fire place & dressing room. There are terraces on each side of the bedroom accessed by large patio doors with superb views. You can actually lie in bed & see the sun rise over the Mediterranean & enjoy amazing mountain views (in season you can see the snow on the Sierra Nevada mountains). All bedrooms have built in wardrobes. The third bedroom has a small balcony to make use of the late sun. There is also a travel cot & baby high chair in the apartment. Snow Skiing, trout fishing, rock climbing, paragliding, shooting, fast go karting, potholing are all available 2 hours drive away or less. Trips to Morocco & Gibraltar are possible as a day trip. The kitchen has had extra cupboards installed together with granite worktops making the kitchen attractive & extremely functional with all appliance, dishwasher/washer/drier/microwave/juice maker & also a breakfast bar in the kitchen with stool.

Notes: There is secure underground parking accessed via automatic doors. The penthouse is the largest within the development and hence has been allocated a double parking space. All woodwork is hardwood Iroku & complemented by the Jalouse windows around the bays of the main bathrooms. All the floors are polished marble adding to the high quality finish throughout the apartment. For entertainment there is a large (40 inch) wall mounted TV, MP3/DVD, stereo. WiFi internet access available in Clubhouse. Automatic shutters are fitted to all windows with 24 hour security in place. In case the evenings get a little cool there is a patio gas heater on the terrace to keep you snug as well as a WEBER gas barbeque. For trips to the beach etc there are cool boxes to enable you to have picnics etc. Sunbeds & chairs are available on the upper terrace. In summary, if you want luxury & comfortable accommodation in nice surroundings with all facilities close by, then this is for you.

A truly stunning property

From the minute you open the front door, you know that you have made the right choice. You could not ask for more and I don't think a 5 star hotel would offer the luxuries that you receive at this property. The property is so spacious that you could easily accommodate two families without noticing each other! The master bedroom upstairs is a hidden gem, a fantastic escape from the kids or just a place to feel that you have deserved this pure luxury!
The views are spectacular and the tranquility unbelievable, yet everything is close by if you need it. In fact when you visit one of the many swimming pools, (if you tear yourself away from the over sized balconies,) you forget that there are other people on the complex!
The club house is a bonus and the restaurant serves reasonable but delicious food. The staff are so helpful and offer all the information that you may need.
My family and I cannot recommend this property enough, we were very sorry to leave and out of all the different apartments we have stayed in, this certainly remains the top of the list. We also want to say a big thank you to Gary and Sue who helped to make our stay perfect.
We hope we will stay again next year.

A PERFECT WEEK in august 09

Nice week in a very beautiful flat with a wonderful view.
High level of equipment and lovely furnitures.
El Soto golf is perfect to play golf, to do fitness, walking around.

Excellent place for relaxing vacation, with or without kids. Calm and peacefull, the penthouse has a great view on surounding hills and sea. 3 swimingpools are directly accessible and one is visible from the appartment's windows which makes it easy to ensure all is fine with kids.
Luxuriously furnished and with large rooms, the penthouse offers all it takes to fill at ease.
Only caveat is internet access, which is inexistent and requires a short hop to the guest house.

I definitly recommend this place for familly vacation.
Owner's Response: I must admit this is the first time we have had a negative response regarding anything with the apartment and/or facilities. For WiFi access, your PC must be configured for WiFi access and needs to be checked in your home country before departure. Free WiFi is available from the Golf Club House and can be picked up from the terrace of the apartment although it is at the maximum range limits and signal strength low. Other free operators are occasionally also accessible and I and others have used these connections. However, for a more secure and reliable connection anywhere within the apartment for renters keeping in contact with work etc, we always recommend renters sign up for temporary access with one of the many local wireless internet access companies and is not expensive and can be arranged in advance. Access can also be arranged on arrival, directly from your PC within the apartment using a credit card. If you prefer not to use your card, you can pay in cash at their local office. A password is given and can be booked for the period of your stay. Another alternative are the many internet cafe's when you are out and about. We prefer the latter option for occasional use as they are very sociable places and unbelievably cheap. More importantly for us is that there is no need to take your PC with you on holiday!! However, for the future, we now plan to investigate taking out a long term contract to ensure a 100% reliable service from within the apartment for all our renters.

We had a brilliant 10 days and can't really add anything the other reviewers have already said it really is a lovely, comfortable, spacious very well fitted out apartment in a great setting.

I found Gary very easy and pleasant to deal with and would certainly recommend it and hope to visit again soon.
Owner's Response: We believe this development is the best kept secret along the Coast. We found it on a recommendation and ended up buying a place after viewing over 50 other developments.

The apartment is lovely and very comfortable with enough space for our family during the Christmas holidays.
We found everything very well done and loved having 3 complete bathrooms.
Being handicapped it was great to have the garage and elevator close.
You definitely need a car to go down the mountain to the beach. I found walking on the roads very difficult but the gardens and pool area are very accessible.
The clubhouse has a nice restaurant and very helpful friendly staff who spoke English.
Elviria is a cute little town with grocery shopping and pubs.
We all had a lovely time.
