Sunsets, views, and solitude abound in this rustic and unique cottage built in 1927 and located on a hilltop at the end of a 1/4 mile driveway with beautiful views. Fully equipped kitchen. Owner lives on the 26 acre property. Suitable for a person or couple who want a quiet setting with nature - yet is close to area cultural events. Located in rural Guilford near Brattleboro town line, Marlboro Music Festival, Stratton and Mt Snow Resorts, antique shops and covered bridges, farmers' markets, historic villages, back road exploring, hiking, and boating on Connecticut River. 3 miles to Brattleboro and Interstate 91.

    All tenants are expected to leave the cottage clean and ready for the next tenant. The owners will inspect it upon
    departure and, if extra cleaning, over and beyond routine vacuuming,etc., needs to be done, the tenant will be charged for this at the rate of $30.00/hr.
  • Minimum rental is for one week at the regular weekly rate of $350.00 + 9% Vermont Rooms Tax

Special Note: This cottage is best suited for persons that love the out of doors-but want comfortable-accommodations in a rustic setting. Heat is from a Vermont Castings wood stove plus a Propane gas furnace. Shower and toilet are in a separate building 20 feet from cottage. It is not handicap accessible. Outside grounds are uneven so sturdy footwear advised.
