The Round House is a cozy 12 sided house wrapped in mountain stonework, including fireplace and completed with a wrap-round deck for relaxing and barbecuing. A 'Great Room' with cathedral ceiling, stone fireplace, kitchen, two bedrooms and a bath on the main level offers a comfortable convenient living space (800 sq. ft.) There is also a third bedroom/ living area with 1/2 bath on the lower level (800 sq. ft.). Both levels are equipped with cable TV with DVD/VCR. The house overlooks 8 3/4 acres of picturesque mountain property including streams. It is located just 4 miles west of Historic Hendersonville, in the Blue Ridge mountains of Western North Carolina. The Asheville/Hendersonville area offers a multitude of vacation activities, including, hiking canoeing, sightseeing, gourmet dining and golfing. The house offers the comfort and seclusion of a retreat setting within close proximity to civilization if you wish to have it.

This is a wonderful vacation property any time of year. Visit in the Spring to see a variety of rare Spring flowers in the woods. Visit in the Summer to pick blueberries, raspberries and flowers from our perennial garden. Visit in the Fall to see wonderful array of colorful leaves. The owners live in the Hendersonville area and will be available to assist you if needed.

We found the Round House to be an excellent getaway in the NC Mountains. The owner was very good to work with and we found the property to have everything needed to make for a wonderful week in the mountains.
