About Linda Peterson
We live an hour away between Jonestown and Cedar Park across from Lake Travis. I lived in the area as a child, but my spouse is a transplant from the beautiful Lake Michigan area. I guess you'd call us lake people. We have seven grandchildren, but only two are local. The others are in Raleigh, NC. We also have a pair of small Shih Tzu dogs that love the lake area as much as we do.
Linda Peterson purchased this house in 2004
Why Linda Peterson chose Granite Shoals
We previously had a smaller rental on Lake Travis, but sold it because water levels had fluctuated so much. Lake LBJ is referred to a constant-level lake, so boating is never hampered by low water. The area is a quiet, congenial, slow-paced kind of place where folks wave as they drive by even if they don't know you.
What makes this house unique
There is a lot of wildlife wandering around - prized plants are a favorite of the local deer population. We had a very small fawn take up residence in the shady plants of our tree round in front of the house. We named this place for the two peacocks who liked to wander our property. Unfortunately, all peacocks had to be removed. Butterflies, song birds, and millions of stars on quiet nights all add up to a wonderful place to rest and relax.
