LAKE~ LBJ~ 4BR WATERFRONT, INDOOR SPA, KAYAKS, DECKS

If you have a large get-together planned, this is the place for you! It was just my husband and I staying there for a week, as we chose the home for the use of the boat. Unfortunately, the boat was not working. We were able to rent a pontoon from Splash Rentals at a very reasonable price and kept the boat at Linda and Mark's dock.
This home is decorated very tastefully with fine furniture and all kinds of extras that you may need.
I am all about how the water pressure is and the bed sleeps, when we stay anywhere. The master bath shower head was AWESOME!! Water was hot and pressure excellent! The sheets and towels were high quality and not "itchy". So soft and high thread count. The mattress in the MB was so comfortable..you sleep like a baby! The residence was as nice or nicer, than some Hiltons and Marriotts, we have stayed in. Linda and Mark are very accommodating and eager to assist. The neighborhood is nice and quiet. Lots of things to do. Excellent flat screen TV's, games, and we were so grateful to be able to take our dogs. You have to pick this for your next vacation at Granite Shoals!

The listing description and photos were very helpful in my decision to choose the Peacock House for our family Christmas gathering this year. The owner was very cordial and helpful in answering my questions and concerns. The house and grounds were well kept. We had a wonderful weekend, and enjoyed the outdoor spaces as the weather was great. Would recommend this property to a friend or relative. We really didn't take advantage of any of the nearby activities or attractions.

We stayed at the Peacock house 5 nights during Thanksgiving week and totally enjoyed it! The house was larger than expected and the pictures of the kitchen online do not do the size of the room justice. It was a large room with lots of counter space! There was plenty of sitting for meals and games. Beds were plentiful and comfy and the owners made sure we had everything we needed for our Thanksgiving meal. I love how well stocked the kitchen was! My kids really enjoyed the foosball table and all the game options. I really enjoyed how relaxing and roomy the house was. I wish the weather would have been cooler so that we could have enjoyed the large wood burning fire place. The peacocks came everyday (I think I counted 7) and several times, deer would also visit us.

Having the option to rent the boat was a huge plus and the use of the free kayaks was really cool.

I was also very grateful that the owners allowed us to bring our two dogs. The dogs were most curious about the peacocks.

My family and I had a wonderful time there and hope to return over the summer.
