Our peaceful retreat is only 100 miles north of Boston and 10 miles from Wolfeboro Center. It is the perfect home for a romantic getaway or an intimate family gathering. Spend some time alone with those you love. This is the perfect setting to escape the pressures of everyday life and simply rest and relax.

A beautiful, relaxing vacation retreat.
NH in early autumn is usually wonderful. This quiet lake side property is a perfect place to enjoy NH. The lake is pristine. Directly across the street is a lovely swimming beach, that we were able to enjoy because of the summer like weather early in our stay.
The fishermen enjoyed their early morning outings on the lake. The fist cast of the vacation brought a 15" large mouth bass into our net. Released back into the lake, he must have spread the news because many more fish his size and larger graced our hooks.
The house was perfect for our all adult multi-generation gathering. With two kingsize beds on the main level the older folks had plenty of comfort and privacy. The younger folks enjoyed the loft and visiting into evening. The overall set up was very flexible. Families with small children will find a nursery within the Master suite.
The open floor plan was great for visiting while cooking and cleaning up. The porches provided quiet spots to read and enjoy the cool evenings.
Even with record high temperatures during the days the house was comfortable every night of our stay.

We had a great time at Lakeside Promise. My children loved swimming to the island and using the canoe. The house was beautiful and had plenty of room for everyone. Thanks for a wonderful vacation!!

Lakeside Promise was a vacation to remember. The accomodations were 5 star! The kids loved the beach, boating and fishing. My son caught a 17" large mouth bass and had the time of his life.

Thanks for the use of your beautiful home. It was clean and roomy and the master suite was elegant with it's jacuzzi. The home has everything from cable tv and internet to a basement full of toys for the kids. You thought of everything we would need. The lake is beautiful and the setting is private and peaceful. No one wanted to leave! We are definitely planning our next trip already and will of course stay with you again! - THANKS!

Let me start by saying that Jim & I are both looking forward to a return trip next year!

As promised your home was beautiful. We visited in January and although it was rather cold outdoors we were wonderfully cozy sitting in front of the fireplace. A good portion of our weekend was spent indoors because the house is so beautifully appointed that we had no reason to want to leave.
