This charming waterfront vacation cottage has a rustic, cabin feel with all of the comforts of home. Every room has waterviews! Soak up the sun while you BBQ on the wrap-around deck and enjoy expansive views of lake activities and Sunapee Harbor! This home has filled the pages of our family photo albums for over 40 years... and is sure to add some great pages to yours too! Upper level has an open floorplan with a large kitchen, dining area, living room and wrap-around deck. In addition, this floor has the master bedroom and 2 full baths. The lower level has 3 adjoining bedrooms with access to a second more private patio... a perfect shady spot to sneak away to and catch up on your summer reading!

You'll have no problem planning activities for everyday of your stay... although, once you sit down on the deck or edge of the dock, you may just be tempted to plan on doing nothing at all!

Incredible location! Wonderful House!

Initially we were concerned about the "issues" mentioned in another review, but to our delight, everything had been resolved. The caretakers are wonderful and came right over when some plumbing questions came up. Despite quite a bit of rain during our stay, we swam, kayaked, cooked and relaxed! The house was very clean and well appointed. The location is unbeatable. We had 5 adults and 1 child for the week and everyone was very happy. We will be back again next year! Thank you.

Great Location/House has issues

We had an amazing time on Lake Sunapee, the Lake is beautiful and the town is amazing. This house is walking distance to downtown and has a great view of the lake from the dock. We used the beach pass and the kids really enjoyed the local beach and activities that were offered (sunfish & paddle boat rentals).
The issue was with the house mildew smell in the downstairs rooms. We had all the rooms filled and the downstairs groups had trouble sleeping because of the smell and lack of ventilation. Everything was always damp due to lack of sun in the those downstairs rooms. The outside patio on the downstairs was covered with green slime and when we arrived we were told we can only wash our clothes in hot water - no cold was available for the laundry room. This could be such an amazing rental if these issues could be resolved -at this point we were looking to stay longer next year but we will be looking for a different house. The caretakers were very nice and came over right away when there was no propane tank for the grill left by the previous tenants. The house was also stocked with everything we could need including plenty of towels and linens.
