Great waterfront cottage with a view that will take your breath away. Watch the ferries come and go from the deck and feel that breeze. You will not forget the gorgeous sunsets! Recently renovated and ready to help you relax and unwind from the hustle and bustle of the modern world. Spacious interior with new carpet and hardwood floors includes a state of the art kitchen, living room, dining room, two bedrooms, two family rooms that can double as bedrooms and a bath. Outside there is a huge wrap-around deck and parking for four cars. Bring your boat and moor it out front in the bay! Surf fishing from your front yard. Located off the main road, the kids can play in the spacious yard without worry. Set up a net and challenge your friends to a beach volleyball match. You will fall in love with Broadkill Beach.

Located right on the white sands of the Delaware Bay to the east and the 9000 acre Prime Hook Wildlife Refuge to the west, this is a place that really lets you relax. Bike, walk or jog the entire 2 1/2 mile length of Broadkill Beach with ease. Bring your binoculars and camera and do some serious bird watching at Prime Hook. The championship Rookery golf course is only 5 miles away and they also have a very nice restaurant. Bring your telescope for some stunning views of the stars at night like you remember from your youth. Once you've recharged your batteries, you can drive 10 miles to enjoy the hustle and bustle of Rehoboth or Lewes. Enjoy great restaurants, outlet mall shopping and activities for the whole family. Stroll through historic downtown Lewes or take a ferry to Cape May, NJ, with its picturesque Victorian waterfront. The Rehoboth boardwalk and Atlantic beaches are 17 miles away when you just have to have some saltwater taffy or boardwalk fries.

On Top of the Water - Best Spot on Broadkill Beach

We just returned from a fantastic week at Broadkill Beach and this property made it worthwhile. It may not be the newest rental on the island, but it certainly has the best location. Nice kitchen and living room, clean bathroom, huge upstairs sleeping loft with powerful a/c, and a deck that lords over the seas at high tide... No need to bring everything but the kitchen sink down to the beach each day -- your house is right there. The kids can swim and play while you make lunch and you don't have to worry -- you're watching them from the kitchen. We wouldn't hesitate to go back!
