Casa Del Mar is an adorable 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom house 1 block in from Pleasure Point in Capitola, CA (just south of Santa Cruz). Because of the mild ocean climate the house has the quintessential California feeling of lushness with many beautiful plants and flowers surrounding the house. The house has an abundance of light with lots of windows and evening sun shining through from the back porch. The living room has a bright yet cozy feeling. If the fog rolls in the natural wood fireplace in the living room can help keep things cozy for vacationers. The kitchen has everything you need to make great meals for the family and it has tall ceilings and a skylight. The bedrooms are all comfortable and cozy at the same time. The best part of Casa Del Mar is the great feeling you get when the brilliant California Sun comes beaming through the large double doors leading from the living room to the lush porch setting.

Location: Central Coast California < California < USA

Capitola is probably the favorite end-destination in Santa Cruz County, maybe even more so than Santa Cruz itself. Pleasure Point is the area just west of Capitola between Capitola and Santa Cruz. Pleasure point is a sleepy beach community with an abundance of bike trails and recreational activities including: Biking, surfing, boogie boarding, skateboarding, roller blading, Frisbee and anything associated with Ocean Sports. We provide you with some fun activities right at the house including a brand new hot tub and a ping pong table in the garage. Since it's not a through street it's very safe for bikes and strolling. In Capitola you get everything: Restaurants, shops, grassy knolls, fantastic beach and its a 5 minute bike ride. In Santa Cruz of course you have all of the above plus the famous Beach Boardwalk. People who stay at our Pleasure Point house (fondly nicknamed Casa Del Mar) find that they get a quiet cozy home away from home that is in the middle of everything.

It's a wonderful way to have a home away from home close to the beach in a quiet inviting setting. To make it even more quiet, the house is not on a through street. As a result you rarely hear the sound of passing cars day or night. Other features of Casa Del Mar: Jacuzzi (to warm up after a dip in the ocean), a 2 car garage with ping pong for the kids, mountain bikes for cruising the area so you can leave the car at home.

I would recommend this rental to anyone. It is comfortable, well decorated/maintained, and very quiet. It is one block from a lovely beach, close enough to enjoy and far enough that traffic is not a problem. The entire property is clean and has all the ease of home. You will not be disappointed. This was a special weekend for my daughter and it was worth every penny.
