Beautifully decorated, adorable year round cottage with central air/heat has two bedrooms, one bath, fully equipped kitchen/ laundry area, glass surrounded sun porch, deck and fenced in hot tub. The cottage is surrounded by trees and set back slightly from the waterfront, providing added privacy along with a great view of the lake. Walk through the yard to reach private deck directly on the waterfront. Relax and enjoy daytime activities; paddle boating, fishing, and swimming at the cottage's waterfront deck area. Owasco Lake is located in the beautiful Finger Lakes Region of Central NY. Close to Syracuse, Ithaca (35 min) and Rochester (1 hr) there are many activities available for your enjoyment. A trip to the Finger Lakes wouldn't be complete without a scenic ride along the Cayuga or Seneca Wine Trails. Hike and fish at one of our nearby state parks including Fillmore Glen or Buttermilk Falls. History lovers will enjoy visiting the William H. Seward House or Harriet Tubman Home in Auburn and the Women's' Rights Museum in Seneca Falls. The Merry-Go-Round Playhouse ('Broadway of the Finger Lakes') runs May-August and is minutes away! Families may enjoy visiting the Museum of Science and Technology and Rosemond Gifford Zoo (Syracuse). Shoppers will love exploring Auburn's new Bass Pro Shop, Prime Outlets and 3-Level Carousel Mall (10-35 min drive). The quaint village of Skaneateles (6 mi.) offers wonderful restaurants, lovely shops, the Mirbeau Spa and a Skaneateles Lake Dinner Cruise

Fall Folige: While the Finger Lakes region is beautiful during the summer, it is absolutely spectacular during the Fall Foliage Season! September and October are the perfect time to enjoy touring through our areas wine trails and quaint villages.

Visit Local Colleges: Our cottage is a 35-40 minute drive to Syracuse University, Ithaca College and Cornell University. . . a great alternative to staying in a hotel for Parents Weekends or graduation.

Skiing: Located about 40-50 minutes from Song Mountain, Greek Peek, Labrador Mountain and an hour from Bristol Mountain. . . there is rarely a shortage of snow in Central New York!

The cottage was perfect! Every comfort of home plus a hottub!. We enjoyed the area and the lake. Fishing was fantastic and no weeds at the end of the dock. September was really quiet at the lake. The sunsets were gorgeous and in the 80's everyday. Highly recommend this property. Great way to exercise walking to the lake several times a day.

Our stay at this charming cottage with four adults was relaxing and enjoyable. The place was clean, well-maintained and efficient with all the necessities and extras anyone would want. The cottage is conveniently located in the heart of Finger Lake country where good wine and great restaurants are in abundance throughout the region. Sightseeing in Syracuse, Ithaca, Aurora, Auburn and Skaneatlas is easy and it is a delight to return to gorgeous sunsets and stunning fall color on Owasco Lake at the end of the day. I strongly recommend this location to anyone who seeks an alternative to sterile motel stays and overpriced Skaneatlas bed and breakfasts.

Our family of four stayed at cottage in August 2006. We found to be a first class accomodation. The hot tub was great. Loved the huge deck with the gas grill and the washer/dryer is very convenient. If you like a quiet area this is the place for you.

This cottage was peaceful and relaxing. The decor was cozy and welcoming - felt at home right away. Enjoyed visiting Skaeneatles, Mackenzie-Childs and the Eastern Cayuga Wine Trail. Plenty of beautiful pet friendly parks. The hot tub was so wonderful and private.

The east side of any Finger Lake is a must - some of the most awesome sunsets ever experienced! The Finger Lakes never disappoints - always rejuvinating, peaceful and available to new explorations!

Great cottage. Stayed the week of August 13-20, 2005. Perfect weather. Beautiful area of New York. About a 9 hour drive from Grand Rapids, MI. This was the first time we have spent any amount of time in the Finger Lakes region and we weren't disappointed. Lots of good places to eat, wineries to visit, sights to see. Did over 200 miles of bicycling along and around Owasco, Cayuga and Skaneateles Lakes...roads are great. Got to see the "The Great Race" out of Auburn. Had a wonderful time...would definitely consider coming back.
