This new two bedroom guest house is located at the edge of Little River on a beautiful wooded lot in Twin Mountain. It is located minutes from Franconia Notch State Park and Mt. Washington State Park. Most all White Mountain attractions are 20 - 30 minutes drive from here. The all new construction, furniture, appliances and appointments make this an extra comfortable and enjoyable place to stay in the beautiful White Mountains. Come! Take a brief tour with us. The kitchen is bright and modern with a breakfast bar. The dining/living room offers a drop leaf table for four, recliner and recliner sofa, TV, VCR, DVD and gas fireplace. Sliders open out to a private deck with Nordic hot tub and gas grill. An adjoining brick patio has an umbrella, table and chairs. Both bedrooms have queen-size beds, telephones and ample closet space. The master bedroom has a private bath, TV/VCR, dresser with mirror and swivel rocker. The other bedroom has a chest with mirror and a rocking chair.

(On-site or nearby) Hiking, (minutes from the best mountain climbing in the northeast) rock climbing, excellent biking on the bike path that extends the length of Franconia Notch, sightseeing, wildlife viewing, golf (minutes from 3 golf courses), great river fishing or fly fishing at Echo and Profile Lakes, hunting, kayak/canoeing, amusement parks within 20-30 minutes of most all, swimming and beach activities at Echo Lake, outlet shopping, antiquing, miniature golf, live theater (summer season), ride to the top of the mountains via Mt. Washington Cog Railway, Mt. Washington Auto Road, Cannon Mountain Aerial Tramway, Gondola ride to the top of Wildcat Mountain or Loon Mountain and of course my favorite...sitting on a rock in the middle of a mountain stream reading a book or just plain 'chilling out' in the cool, clean, refreshing, mountain river.

Notes: Kitchen: waffle maker, basic foods such as coffee, tea, sugar, salt, pepper, spices. All linens and towels provided. .Full size clothes washer and dryer are hidden behind bi-fold doors in the hallway. Outside on a private deck is a Nordic Hot Tub that accommodates 4-5 people and a gas grill for barbecues. On the private patio is a table (with umbrella) and chairs. A Chimnea is also located on the patio. A new Private Gazebo has been added to the front lawn of the Guest House. It is screened in to provide a place to sit out in the evening away from the 'Bugs'. A new fire pit has just been added nestled in the woods. Great for sitting around the campfire swapping stories and toasting marshmallows and making s'mores. Descend a set of stairs and enjoy the river as it splashes over the rocks.

Great place to get away and relax. Guest House is attached to a main house, but very private. Very clean, and updated amenities. I would go there again. Very close to mountains for hiking or skiing. Hot tub is fantastic after a day of hiking. Close to shopping yet you feel like you're in the woods. Very quiet and peacefull.

We stayed at the Little River Guest House in October, 2008. The accommodations were lovely, the hosts were friendly, the amenities were exceptional, the scenery was spectacular. We could not have asked for anything better. It was our first experience choosing a vacation spot through the Internet and we looked at many places to stay before selecting this one. We rest assured we were extremely lucky finding a place as nice as this one with hosts as kind and hospitable as these owners. We will stay again!

myentire family enjoyed the stay beginning with a warm welcome to an appreciated send off. The house[ or better 'Home'] was completely enjoyable. Plenty of room fort the 5 of us,hot tub was great, pool/game room was a plus on our off skiiing day. The location was ideal for skiing at Breton Woods, and is close to Cannonand also some small grocery stores and a gas station where they trust you to pay after you pump! It truly is a 'guest' house! Fantastic vacation area and stay!

While working in the wonderful resort at the Mt Washington Hotel. I had a visit from family over the christmas period of 07/08. I was delighted to come across this wonderful cottage. Myself and my family were very impressed with everything that the cottage offered. Our thanks to Link and Trudy for being very friendly and helpful. My family enjoyed their stay and were sad to leave. If we ever come back to New Hampshire we will hope to be able to stay there again.
