Cute cabin in nice location
The cabin looked like the ad but with quite a bit of snow. Perfect location for skiing at Palisades and Alpine. Kitchen was not as well equipped with limited supplies. We asked about grill and were told it was not available but then were invited to use the neighbors. Bed was extremely comfortable. We were very appreciative of the addition glasses left.

Adorable and cozy cabin!
Loved our stay with Carolyn! Our little apartment above the garage was exactly the right fit for our family - our son loved the rollaway bed and it was so nice to be able to bring our pup along. When the stairs are icy, you have to watch your step going up to the entrance. Overall, a magical snowy getaway in the woods!

A great stay
My husband and I had a wonderful stay in this well-equipped, dog-friendly cabin. We had everything that we needed to cook in and work remotely. The location is a short walk to the lake and close to skiing. We'll be back.

We moved to Tahoe City full time in June of 2013. The West Shore location is ideal! This North Tahoe community is comprised of warm, friendly people who enjoy and value an active and healthy life style.

Why they chose this property

Lake Tahoe is a spectacular destination for any time of the year. We are conveniently located near many restaurants, shops, ski resorts and more. This detached cabin provides a quiet and private retreat while still convenient to all the amenities Lake Tahoe has to offer.

What makes this property unique

This rental is near Homewood Resort, Alpine and world class Squaw Valley ski resort. This location also includes access to the outstanding beach-front homeowners park. The private Lake Tahoe Park Homeowner Association includes over 800 feet of beach area on the beautiful west shore of Lake Tahoe. Two deep water piers offer a convenient loading area for boaters and a relaxing locale for sun bathers. More than three acres of land are beautifully landscaped and meticulously maintained throughout the Summer. Relax in the shade on the expansive lawn area. The kids will love the volleyball court, horseshoe pits, basketball hoop and play area complete with swing sets. Set amongst the grounds are numerous lake front picnic tables and barbecues offering unparalleled views of the lake.
