This adorable, newly remodeled 1 bedroom/1 bath cottage shares a peaceful 1/2 acre of land with the main house on scenic Cape Rosier, in Harborside, Maine. With panoramic views and 135 feet of Penobscot Bay water frontage, this property is the perfect place to enjoy a getaway.

The fully equipped kitchen, living room and bathroom (with shower) are located on the first floor and the bedroom is on the second floor. There is a screened-in porch on the ground level and wonderful views from the second floor deck. Enjoy the passing windjammers, spectacular sunsets, and the view across the bay to Castine Lighthouse.

Launch your kayak from the water's edge for an adventure to the nearby islands and coves or the idyllic town of Castine. Hike the trails in Holbrook Island Sanctuary, or explore the quaint towns of Blue Hill, Deer Isle, and Stonington. Take a day trip to Bar Harbor and enjoy Mount Desert Island's beautiful Acadia National Park. Take a bicycle tour of Cape Rosier. Listen to the steel drum band in nearby Bucks Harbor on Summer nights during July & August. Or simply cook up a lobster to enjoy amidst the panoramic view of the Penobscot Bay.
