Tiburon Vacation Rental house

The location was great. It is across the Golden Gate Bridge from San Francisco. It was a good launch point for a day in Napa Valley; a day in Sonoma Valley; a visit to Muir Woods; a visit to Point Reyes; and sight seeing in San Francisco.
The master bedroom has an incredible view. One of the bedrooms, however, is very small and has only a hideaway double bed. We had 4 couples, so the double bed was a little small. Thus you may want to take that into consideration if your group includes 4 couples. The dining room table was perfect for 8 people. There was a lovely living/sitting room also with incredible views, but we did not really have time to enjoy it.
The deck was also very inviting. We sat out on the deck several times and enjoyed wines purchased from our trip to Napa Valley. The hot tub was not warm when we got there, but that was quickly corrected.
One night we grilled steaks out on the deck. There is an incredible store called Paradise Foods (or Grocery) about 3 miles away. Their filets were about the best steaks any of us ever had. The kitchen has ample dinnerware and cookware to prepare meals. We ate breakfast in and two easy to make suppers (one was the incredible steaks), then ate out the rest of time during our excursions.
We chose the house option over hotels or bed and breakfasts because we were 4 couples that had been friends for over 25 years. We wanted to be able to sit around together and talk, sip wine and play some cards. The house layout allows you to do that in a relaxed comfortable setting.
The amenities were pretty much as advertised. Even though there are houses next door, you still feel secluded because of the trees. The views are definitely as advertised. The bushes etc could use a trim, so the scenery is easier to see from sitting on the deck, but it was still grand.
We met the owner and he was very cordial.
