Less than two miles from Cataloochee Ski Area, Harrah's Casino 25 minutes away, live theatre, shopping galore, antiques, awesome food, Smoky Mountain National Park 19 miles away. Wooded surroundings. So clean. Romantic. Comfortable. Spacious, loft-type log home. Pine-board walls, fireplace, decorated in that charming, comfortable Smoky Mountain way. 2 BR, 2 BA, pull-out sofa sleeper in living room. Central air. Fully stocked kitchen. Smoking is allowed, but only outside, please. Additional screened in porch. Pets welcome with additional pet deposit and daily fee. Cleaning service available. This log cabin was built in 2001 and is in outstanding condition. Rent with confidence.

Truly a gem that will beckon you to return, 'Heart of Maggie' will surpass all of your lodging expectations. This log cabin has the perfect location. It is close enough to town to be convenient, yet far enough away to guarantee peace, quiet, privacy in an upscale neighborhood. Safe and Secure. In the winter: Snow skiing on the mountains, snowmobiling, etc. In the spring, summer: the Great Smoky Mountain National Park is not far! The most visited National Park in the United States! Spend the day hiking the Smoky National Park, them come home to a beautiful, private, log home! Hiking, biking, swimming, horseback rides, BIG craft area, local artists, music, gambling, live entertainment, great food. In the fall: the Color Season is nothing short of spectacular and defies description. Harrah's Casino 30 minutes away, and Cataloochee Ski Area less than two miles away!

We stayed during the peak fall season and loved the view from the front porch. Only minutes from all the attractions of Maggie Valley. Be sure to visit the Ghost Town in the Sky and the Santa Land towards Cherokee. We don't have kids but both were adult friendly and quite enjoyable.

The accommodations were comfortable and we loved the dark bedroom, could have slept for days!!

We just spent our 15 year wedding anniversary in this wonderful cabin! It's perfectly furnished...warm, cozy and peaceful. We immediately felt at home. We recommend this sweet cabin to anyone looking for a perfect get-away!

clean and comfortable cabin in the smokys

We had a wonderful experience renting this lovely home. The owners were friendly and informative, getting us all the necessary info in a timely fashion. Access is relatively easy, considering this is a mountain cabin. It is a very clean rental, with all the necessary amenities. The neighbors were friendly and there are a number of affordable restaurants in the area, if you get tired of preparing your own. Be forewarned, though. The bedrooms are so dark and quiet and comfy you may sleep in quite late, as we did the first day, so you might want to set an alarm for a wakeup call.

My choice in the Mountains

Absolutely love this house! I have spent a weekend three years in a row and plan to go back again & again. Feels like home the moment you arrive. The porch has a terrific view and the quiet makes it the perfect place for a hot cup a coffee, a blanket and a book. Also, its amazing to drive short way and see the beautiful Elk.
