About The Owner

We are two families that enjoy the outdoors. We find the house to serve as a great base for our outdoor activities. Our house serves as a great base for hiking, kayaking, skiing, snowshoeing, etc. At the end of the day, its wonderful to walk a short distance to Main St. for dinner or drinks.

Why The Owner chose Lake Placid

Our house is owned by two families who have vacationed in the adirondacks together for over 25 years. We enjoy hiking, backpacking, kayaking, skiing, snowshoeing, and cross country skiing. This house is a great base for all that the adirondacks has to offer.

What makes this house unique

Our house is very convenient to town and serves as a great base for summer and winter activities. Please feel free to contact us regarding your interests and activities.

NCAA Lakers Hockey

We have stayed at this house the past 2 years for the NCAA Hockey Tournament. The same 4 couples.
It is so convienent. Walking to the Arena, Wise Guys, and the Main Street. We saved a lot of money. Bought food and cooked most of our meals. Had a great time. Some friends stopped to visit and were very impressed with it. Would stay there any time we visit Lake Placid if it is available. Thank You, it is a great place to stay.

This house is a beautiful house, walking distance to the Olympic Rinks and downtown Lake Placid. This is the second time that we have rented this house and once again we were very pleased. The house is clean and well-maintained. We shared it with another family and had plenty of room for the nine of us. If we every travel up to Lake Placid again we will surely rent this house again!!

Thanks again for letting us stay at your beautiful home this past weekend, the house was wonderfully stocked and in a great location to walk almost anywhere in the town. We had a wonderful time at the wedding up at Whiteface Lodge this weekend, and exploring the town and shops was a great experience!

Our family and some our kids' friends stayed here Columbus Day weekend. We have been to Lake Placid many times over the years and this is the nicest place we've stayed. The house is newly renovated, the furniture and beds are comfortable. Everything was top notch and the owners were most pleasant and very accommodating. I will definitely stay here again and I heartily recommend it.

We rented this home for Ironman 2011. It's proximity to town and to all the race venues cannot be beat. Everything you could possibly want for this event. The house is clean, spacious, and well designed for a large group. The owners are communicative and attentive to any needs that arise.

Everything you could want is within walking distance. The beach, the town, restaurants, the Olympic center all a few blocks away.
