Come enjoy the summer fun, Gorgeous changing fall colors or Snowmobiling! Our lovely six bedroom home, 2500 square feet, with large windows sits on a hill surrounded by water on two lakes (Spider and Bass Lakes.) It feels like an island but its a peninsula. You enjoy over 2200 feet of scenic lake shore with two private beaches on almost three acres of wooded setting, privacy is assured. Listen to the Loons in the morning and evenings...best of all, it is nestled in a quiet cove off Spider lake where there is tubing, jet-skiing, sailing and two private beaches. You'll enjoy great swimming with many sandy islands on which to picnic. Spider Lake teems with bass, bluegill, perch, pike, and crappie contained within 29 miles of shoreline while Bass Lake is the fisher's secret and is perfect for swimming and peaceful row boating. The master bedroom (550 square feet) has cathedral ceilings and huge windows, as do all the rooms in the home which overlooks the sparkling lakes and scenic views!

Brown Bridge quiet area is a must see to view bald eagles, swans and wildlife and is only 2 miles down the road. You are also close to Sleeping Bear sand dunes and the Interlochen Music Academy. You are a short 15 minutes drive to Traverse City for lots of fun, shopping and many local vineyards to enjoy wine tasting! This area is known for its beauty, wildlife and friendly people! Hiking, kayaking, canoeing, or go travel the broadman river, walk the trails and stop off at Ranch Rudoph on your way. Winter is snowmobiling, cross country skiing, right out the front door to Peegeo' or Ranch Rudoft. Our 21 foot pontoon boat rental is available for $700. weekly. All boating/swimming is 'at your own risk'.

  • The master bedroom is the best bedroom room in the house, cathedral ceiling, huge windows and two cushy Ethan Allen stuffed chairs and footstool. We also have a king bed with a King Koil, Pillow Mattress, with memory foam, a Top of the Line of the mattress on the king bed. There are lots of bedrooms to sleep and large living quarters so you don't disturb the sleepers in the bedrooms. There is a BOSE acoustic Wave II Radio/CD player for music.

kitchen with two ovens, two refrigerators: Fully furnished with bedding, pots & pans, and cooking utensils, two refrigerators, two ovens (you bring the towels). Two large decks - to sit and watch the wildlife or entertain. Outside is a Weber grill, gas grill, plenty of quality Amish built Adirondack chairs and an eight foot picnic table. Bass lake has a fire-ring with benches for Ghost Stories. On Spider Lake there is a pontoon boat. There is a dock, beach and swim raft on both Spider and Bass Lake so you have your choice of where to hang out. Yes all the beaches are Private! Yes on both lakes! The Spider dock will handle all boats. There is plenty of parking. Perfect place for both peaceful relaxation and play! All boat use at your own risk. Kids log cabin that is only for kids, but you can play in it too if you must! Hot Tub, Hot Tub, Hot Tub!!! Its new and really fun! Air Conditioned so don't sweat it!

Snowmobiling: Our cottage is a snowmobiling intersection of 3 trails. Its between Ranch Rudolf and Peegeo's. We see caravans of snowmobiles in the night passing by our front door or cruising the lakes. The trails are literally right out the front or back doors. Cross country skiing is great with endless opportunities at Camp Grelick, Brown Bridge Quiet Area or Ranch Rudolf. From 7 miles to 50 miles there are six ski resorts for down hill skiing. Come join us for a wonderful snow white experience in the great Up North.

"Absolutely Beautiful" is an understatement. This is a large cozy cottage/home. Everything you may need for your stay is provided, down to board games and puzzles to play with on the large wood table in the main room. Any item you might need for your stay is available.

Fishing is bountiful on either lake, or do all the fun tourist things within a short ride to the Greater Traverse City area.

You can relax sit and enjoy the scenery of Spider Lake on the front deck or Bass Lake off the back deck, or while grilling on the barbeques.

The owners are most helpful and accomodating and have even put up a map of the area and lakes for your assistance.

This has turned out to be our family's greatest find for a Great Vacation!
