Our relatively new home (built 2001) is located in Charlestown about 1 1/2 miles to Charlestown Beach. A beach parking pass is provided for Charlestown Town Beach and East Beach. This property is in immaculate condition with new furniture and appliances. It is located in a nice quiet and safe neighborhood.

Not only are the beaches beautiful, but just minutes away, you can enjoy a day trip to Block Island or stroll around the Galilee Fishing Village. There are golf courses close by, shopping, fishing, kayaking or mini-golf, bumper boats and go-karts for the kids or the kids in all of us! And if dining out is your pleasure, this area offers you many fabulous restaurants to choose from. Just a short ride from the house, approximately 1/2 hour, is Foxwoods Casino. Walk to Green Hill Salt Pond for swimming, canoeing or kayaking. Near Blue Shutters Beach and perhaps one of the best kept secrets in Rhode Island is the three-mile-long East Beach, located near Charlestown's Ninigret Conservation Area. This remote, unspoiled barrier beach has sugar-white sand, gentle surf and clear, turquoise waters, all adjacent to Ninigret Pond, a saltwater pond renowned as one of New England's best wind surfing areas.

WE HAD A FAMILY GATHERING IN THIS BEAUTIFUL HOME THIS OCTOBER. THERE WAS ADEQUATE ROOM FOR THE TEN OF US. THE KITCHEN CONTAINED EVERYTHING WE COULD HAVE POSSIBLY NEEDED.THE HOME WAS CLEAN AND ATTRACTIVLY DECORATED. THE DECK WAS WONDERFUL. I WOULD CERTAINLY STAY THERE AGAIN--EXTRA BONUS--THE WEATHER WAS PERFECT.

We booked a last minute trip to the Rhode Island shore and feel lucky to have found this lovely home in a quiet area near the Charlestown/South Kinston border. We were only four people and the home was very spacious, even for a larger family. Loved the layout that put the TV in the den not the living spaces - this became the "kids clubhouse" which they loved too. My mom appreciated the bed bath set-up on the first floor so she didn't have to navigate stairs. I loved the small deck off the master on the second floor to watch quiet, lovely sunsets. Nice green views from most windows with a piece of property larger than typical for the neighborhood. The location was equi-distant from the Watch Hill/Weekapaug area to the south and the Narragansett/Galilee and Newport area to the north. We really explored every town along the coast and loved it! We will definately return, thank you!

We had a large family gathering at this wonderful, comfortable house. Plenty of room in the large bedrooms and living areas. Eating out on the deck was a real treat. Cooks will appreciate the great kitchen with many quality appliances, gadgets, pots and knives. Beds all comfortable, TV superb. House is new, clean and nicely decorated. In all, a gem of a vacation spot!
