Photos and Description of the Old Orchard Beach vacation cottage rental

Enjoy the smell and view of the ocean with a 5 minute walk to beautiful Old Orchard Beach. Located on a quiet residential street less than a mile from the town pier and Palace Playland. Originally the cottage was visited for many summers by Rudy Vallee. One block from laundromat, restaurant, convenience store, miniature golf; two blocks from train station. Off street parking available. Everything needed to have a relaxing and fun-filled escape.

Large, sunny deck, combined full kitchen and living area, 2 bedrooms on the third floor. Modern, comfortable living room with sofa double bed. King bed in master room. Other bedroom with bunkbeds and cable TV and WiFi. Charming, private, clean and comfortable. Excellent reviews from my guests. Off-season (Sept--May) rates available upon request.

Great location, great price!!

We have stayed at this property 3 times now and it was great! The decor is pretty basic, but you have everything you need. You can even see the ocean from the balcony! The beach is only about a 5 minute walk away and it's actually very nice not to be right on the busy street closer to the beach. This is a great family rental with plenty of room, especially nice to have the little ones upstairs while we can stay up at night downstairs watching a movie or sitting on the balcony. The owner is also very nice and accomodating! I'd stay again and would recommend this place to others!!

We had a week in August booked with Alison and a family emergency came up last minute and had to cancel. Alison put extra effort into re renting our week and returned our deposit in full-not only did she refund our deposit she offered to help sell water park tickets we had bought in advance and she checked back with us to see how we were......I would do bussiness with her again in a heart beat and hope to re book next summer......like I said WONDERFUL OWNER!!!

Needs some updates

Pros - great location, 5 min walk to beach, 5-10 min walk to pier, nice to be away from the main strip - quieter (except for the loud party next door Sat night), well equipped with the basics -toilet paper, soap, paper towels, dishwashing liquid

Cons - awful odor upstairs (cat urine maybe?) primarily in the bunkbed room. Think the carpets need to be replaced up there to solve the problem.

This is my second year staying here. Clean, private and all the comforts of home. Great for a family trip or just a wonderful get away. I did not need the car all week, everything is within walking distance. I loved my stay, and will return again. Perfecto!

This place rescued our week

I have come to OOB since I was a baby and had never seen a week that was as rainy as our vacation was there this passed August. It rained every day. But thankfully we were staying at this property, which saved the day(s). The living area is nice and spacious. We like to cook and we found the kitchen/dining area ample. And the porch is nicely isolated from the road and nearby houses.

I definitely recommend this property. The owner was very cooperative with anything we asked. The beach at Old Orchard is beautiful and stayinh at a place like this makes it that much better.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
