In Corolla, there are a number of attractions and activities for your family to enjoy. Within walking distance of the home is the Currituck Lighthouse. Just south a few yards is the Whalehead Club - a restored home now used as a museum which sports walking trails on its sound side property. Just a mile or so north of the home is the 4 Wheel Drive beach - a 5-10 mile stretch of pristine beach that has no roads; where one might still see the wild horses that have made Corolla famous. If you do not have a 4WD vehicle, there are 'outback' tours available. For the kids, there is mini-golf, go-cart racing, bumper cars, paddle boats and an arcade at the Timbuck II shopping center - adults can browse the many fine shops while the kids are entertained. There is also para sailing, canoeing, kayaking, and wave running available through several companies in the area.

  • $2785-$13580/week
  • Rates include cleaning, security deposit insurance, linens and towels, beds made and credit card processing charges. Optional services: Trip Insurance at 6.5% of the base rent and propane to heat the pool at a flat fee per week, rate varies based on the time of year. Pool dates are March 27 (if propane is purchased; otherwise the pool is open on May 2nd) - October 30, 2010.
    Weddings and other special events are allowed for an extra charge of $1,250 per week which includes wedding insurance, extra cleaning, extra garbage removal, and post event carpet cleaning, as well as other administrative charges.
  • Mini-weekends are available in the Off-Season only! See pricing in appropriate rate periods above. Should guests choose to bring their own sheets and towels, the mini-weekend rate can be further reduced by $300.

I took my entire family, siblings and their families to this beautiful home as a way to celebrate my 50th birthday. What better way than to spend time with the people most important in your life. The home is exceptional. Right on the beach. The accomodations were great. Kitchen outstanding. Noone wanted to leave to explore. 23 of us in the same house for a full week an we were all sad to leave. Highly reccomend the location.

This is an absolutely beautiful home in one of the prime pieces of ocean front on the outer banks we feel. I love Ocean Hill...it is a very quiet and beautiful place to vacation. It was extremely relaxing and the house is unbelievable. Has everything anyone could possibly wish for and more. The owners of this home take great care to make sure that everyone feels welcome who stays here. It was truly a wonderful vacation. We love Corolla. It's our favorite spot in all the outer banks.

We had a great time and enjoyed all of the amenities the house had to offer. The pool, close proximity to the beach and wonderful kitchen were a huge attraction and well used by our families.

It was absolutely a positive..we had a wonderful time. Our family vacations consist of 6 seperate families, and everyone found more than enough to do, even on the so-so weather days. Unfortunately, I let the grumpy seniors fill out the realtors survey, so please take any comments with a grain of salt.

Also, the Maine house looks awesome...we are eagerly anticipating the details and may try to put together a multi-family vacation there, as well.

We had a wonderful stay, the house is beautiful, just what we all wanted. The kitchen and family room were perfect for the large family.
The house layout is great for children, elderly and pets alike. The elevator was a bonus. The Beach view pool and the hot tubs a major plus. We will be returning.
