The Accomodations

When we were initially looking for a place to stay that wasn't a hotel/motel, we didn't really know what to expect. I had stayed at the local hotels, and certainly didn't want to repeat that experience, especially with 3 kids in tow.
Tom's townhouse was beautiful. The thing that sold me the most was the cleanliness. It was obvious that it was well maintained, and the roominess of it was great. The house just kept going on and on! Lots of places to spread out and relax, from the game room, to the fireplace, to the mutiple televisions throughout the house.
I loved not having to go to the car! Being slope side was awesome! And I loved not having to visit the lodge even once, and for the first time ever in my history of skiing Camelback, the kids and I broke for lunch after a long morning on the slopes and watched a movie and took a nap! It's a bit difficult to nap after lunch in a ski lodge! Its hard to explain how nice this is unless you've done the work to get 3 kids, packed up, geared up and moving for a day of skiing. It's exhausting!
The fully equipped kitchen was great, too. There was nothing that we couldn't find in that kitchen. It appeared that people loved and respected this house enough to bring things (spices, extra utensils, baking items) to the house and leave them for the next guests! And again, I can't stress enough the cleanliness. We wanted to leave the place just as clean when we left out of respect for the group that was behind us, and the family that allowed us the priviledge of staying in their home.
We made great memories and hope to return year after year!
