This is a beautiful area. I am fortunate to live here. You should visit! ******** Also visit projo.com/icons to see many beautiful aerial photos of Bonnet Shores and surrounding South County, RI.
In the spirit of full disclosure: The photos of the beach and sailboat are not from the house but are from a 2-3 minute walk from the house. They are intended to show Bonnet Shores Beach and Narragansett Bay. You can see the beach from the carport, but trees mostly block the view. However, you can certainly hear the waves crashing at night!! ******** Also visit projo.com/icons to see many beautiful aerial photos of Bonnet Shores and surrounding South (Washington) County, RI.
We have stayed at several places in Bonnett Shores. This home is really the best deal for what you get. It is clean, comfortable, well stocked, in a quiet neighborhood and walking distance to Kelly Beach. The owner is kind and easy to work with.
Very nice neighborhood!! Comfortable house with all the necessities provided plus a few extras, like wireless internet service. The house is cozy yet spacious (our two small kids loved it) with everything you need to make this truly a home away from home. The carport has a picnic table and a grill provided for those evening cookouts. The house and property are well maintained. The beach is just two minutes away by bicycle. Rhode Island also has many bike paths, including a few very nearby( one is the William C. O'neill or South County bikepath. Another bike path that is about an hour drive is the Blackstone River bikepath, it is definitely worth the trip ( and while you're in that area don't miss Wrights Farm bakery!!) There are many other attractions (i.e. lighthouses, museums, gardens such as the "Green Animals Topiary Garden", antique stores, etc.) in the area, most are less than 30 minutes away by car. All in all, it was a very enjoyable experience and we will definitly consider this for a vacation destination next year.
Bonnet Shores is a beautiful neighborhood. Beach, swimming, fishing, boating, hiking, kayaking all nearby. Casinos. Newport mansions. Night life. Multi-week discount.
