Luxury Detached 2 bedroom Villa with Heated Swimming Pool

We really enjoyed our stay here, villa was clean spacious and well equipped with everything you could possibly need. the pool was a great extra for us and it was well used. bedding and towels changed weekly and it was a lovely extra having those essentials in fridge on our arrival we arrived late and didnt have a clue where any shops were or if any would be open.
Playa Blanca was a pleasant resort very clean and pretty with real character with a good selection of restaurants and bars and a small selection of shops(we visited Puerto Carmen and once was enough no comparisons there).
You do need a car here, if I had to find a downside i would say the villa is very far out and to walk into playa blanca it took us an hour from villa to ferry port along promenade walk which prob wasnt quickest route though. Petrol was cheaper thanUK and parking is easy as you park on roads with no charges so car hire is no problem roads were good and no traffic problems. We had ten very relaxing chilled out days here and would recommend this as a good family break

The villa was really lovely my 2 year old loved it and made me feel 100% better as I was 9weeks pregant with morning sickness and never any appetite (driving my hubby round bend) after that weeks stay came home feeling loads better. Only 1 thing do recommend hireing a car ask Paul for advice on car rental company.

As many have said before, Paul is super to deal with and only asks for a small deposit (and no security deposity).
It is his family home in the sun and this is reflected in the way the villa is equipped (as distinct to the meagre resources of buy to rent properties) and maintained eg no scratches nor damaged furniture; infact, a high degree of quality prevails throughout.
The recent change of management (from Tracey) would appear to be a "negative" factor, although the impact on us was "manageable".
Also, we seemed to be surrounded by dogs' barking (3 at one villa 3 doors away) but during hours of darkness, it was peaceful every night.
Mike (and Mel) cleaned the pool regularly and tended to the irrigation system/overgrowing shrubs as well as giving adhoc inputs; this was much appreciated.
The jury maybe out but with a taxi c50 euros each way from/to the airport, a car (do not use Goldcar/try Autoreisen) does seem sensible and driving, with the possible exception of Arrecife in the rush hour, is easy and the road surfaces are very good in the main.
Certainly, we doubt there would be very many places to stay which overall are as compelling as this villa.
So, if you are at all interested get in touch with Paul without delay or else you may find it is not available when you want to go.
We would certainly stay again and recommend it to others.
