These Unique cabins are located on a working farm located between Asheville and Hot Springs, North Carolina. Whether it be for a romantic get away with your sweetheart or a trip with the kids, you will enjoy our hospitality and the rustic comfort of this special place. Meet our Belted Galloway cattle, gather the eggs from the chickens if you desire, and enjoy the antics of our cashmere and dairy goats. And our mountains, well there is just no prettier place to be! Come stay a while with us, relax, listen to the creek flowing down the mountain, kick off your boots, hot tub under the stars, and forget your worries for a while. The Farm cabin, part of which dates back to the 1800's, was recently remodeled using timber-framing techniques. It has a first floor bedroom with a full bed and a loft with one full and one twin bed allowing 5 to sleep comfortably. Whimsically decorated, the sky lit spaces are filled with antiques and delights. Our private log cabins sleep 2-3

Or head down to Asheville and experience The Biltmore Estate, Asheville shopping, fine dining, hike the 'Urban Trail,' partake of the night life and frequent festivals, fine arts, concerts, and unique flavor of this diverse town. Meet our animals, fish our creeks, hike directly from the farm, gather your own eggs. Our two new little log cabins feature Privacy, huge decks, hot tubs, swings, gas grills, views, covered porches, and all the amenities offered at our larger farm cabin with peaceful seclusion. The wood burning fireplace begs you to curl up with a good book while the hot tub lures you outdoors to the deck to marvel at the star studded night sky. There is a full kitchen with all the equipment needed, a satellite TV and VCR, large covered porches with comfortable furniture, and open decks with a gas grill. Books about nature and our mountains as well as games and puzzles are all provided as well as a supply of recent release video tapes. All linens and paper good are furnished. A massage therapist is available to spoil you and make your relaxing visit to the mountains extra special. Ask about this service when you book your stay! Remember that we are farmers and are often not in by the phone except early mornings, noon, and after 5:30 PM. The Briar Rose Farm cabin works well for both families and honeymooners! For Seclusion and Peaceful views, ask about our log cabins for Two!

May 2009 brings the birth of the goats kids! Nothing does your heart so good as to smile and laugh at their antics as they spring and bounce around the barnyard. A visit you will always remember. Private as you wish or partake in the workings of the farm. Gather your own eggs, haul firewood, work and harvest food from the garden, in season. See how lettuce is grown hydroponically in the greenhouse. Watch our sawmill turn trees into usable lumber. Perhaps you would even like to see how soap is made, or milk a goat?
