PRIVATE ESTATE SKI RENTAL WITH PRIVATE CHAUFFERED SKI SHUTTLE

Our extended family stayed at BV for a March wedding that took place up on the ski slopes. There were 6 families with 19 members ranging from teens to 85 years old. We booked both the main house and the guest house which afforded everybody a comfortable place to sleep. On two evenings we all converged on the main house for a big family dinner. The kitchen facilities accommodated all of us made this a real pleasure; plenty of plates, glasses and silverware, new high end appliances and two dishwashers. And the huge, long dining table sat all of us with a spectacular view of the valley below.

While dinner was cooking, the gang enjoyed watching basketball on the huge TV, playing foosball and hanging out in the spacious living room. After dinner, most of us retired to the hot tub to soak sore muscles for the next day on the slopes.

Kevin and Vanessa were fantastic hosts and caretakers. We had snow on 2 of 3 days and Kevin had the walks and driveways cleared before guest house people stumbled over to the main house for coffee and breakfast. They provided us with transportation to and from the ski slopes and picked most of us up from the wedding reception. They even took a group of us out to the airport, even though it’s quite a drive. Kevin kept dry wood in an interior storage space ready for use in the wood burning fireplaces. On top of all that, we really enjoyed their company; they are great down-to-earth folks who love what they do. These guys will treat you right!

We can’t wait to come back in the warmer months to enjoy Steamboat Springs’ other outdoor activities and the rest of BV's outdoor features. One of the teens said she wanted to get married at the BV. Great idea in my opinion … but I’m not in any rush for that one!
