Clear Creek Cove is a easy-going ranch-style home overlooking beautiful Inks Lake, the Jewel of the Highland Lakes, just an hour's drive from Austin in the heart of the Texas Hill Country. Located near the Vanishing Texas River Cruise, Enchanted Rock, LBJ's Home and Ranch, Exotic Resort Zoo, Inks Lake State Park, Inks Golf Course, Longhorn Caverns, Inks Fish Hatchery, and several vineyards, there are lots of things to do nearby if you want to explore. On site, though, you'll find a spacious 3 bedroom 3 bath home stocked with games, movies, TV with satellite, and plenty of room to relax even on stormy days. The expansive tree-covered lawn on an acre with 265 feet of waterfront has plenty of room for volleyball, football, tag or just relaxing and picnicking under the giant oaks, swimming in the lake, fishing the shoreline, and soaking in the gorgeous views from our big covered porch. It's fun for the whole family, or a relaxing getaway for couples.

See Central Texas Scenic Day Loop: On longer visits, you might enjoy this beautiful drive through the Hill Country, sampling some of the local foods like the German specialties in Fredericksburg, fresh peaches and produce in Stonewall, as well as a couple of wineries nearby, and ending your day at one of the fine restaurants in Marble Falls. Head west on 71 to Llano, turn south onto 16, and follow the sign to Enchanted Rock State Park, where you can take a morning hike on the granite monolith for a view of the surrounding hills. Turn right and head into Fredericksburg for a little history and shopping, and a great lunch. Then go east on Hwy 290, stopping in Stonewall, again for the LBJ Ranch Nat'l Park, and in Johnson City for the LBJ Boyhood Home. Magnificient museums! Go north on Hwy 281 to Marble Falls for dinner, north again to Burnet, and turn west/left on 29 to head back to your lakehouse. Have Fun!

We Came Back Again!

Our second visit to Clear Creek in August was just as great as the first. Everything you need is there from the boat ramp, to swiming, to a play area for the kids and a great view of the lake. The house has everyting you need and more. Thanks for making this vacation spot available for us. We will definitely conintue to keep this as one of our family vacation spots and will highly recommend it to all.

A perfect weekend gataway!

We stayed in this house for 2 nights and it was just not enough. Loved the locations of the house. Right on the lake and an hours drive from Austin. The house is beautiful. Open and spacious. Very clean and well equiped. They have pretty much everything you can think about. The lake views from living room and two of the bedrooms is just priceless. We really look forward to staying here again soon! Thank you Marsha!

Second Stay

Once again, we had a great time at this well maintained property. The home is spacious and clean. And, they've built a nice new deck. It was hot outside this time of year, but the water felt great. There were 11 of us there and we had plenty of room.

Nice Stay by the Lake

We had an extended family vacation here in July. The home was a perfect fit. Nice and clean with just enough room. It had two "master" bedrooms, plus a "kids" room. We had 5 kids in our group and they loved their room.

Because the house is located on a cove, the boat traffic was minimal. And, the entrance to the water was gradual, though rocky. Water shoes are highly recommended. The water was perfect.

We had a nice relaxing visit with family. Would definitely return.

Relaxing and Enjoying the Family at the Lakehouse

Our family met at the Inks Lake House in May. We had several small children in our group and they had plenty of room to run, play and ride their bikes outside. The water was shallow enough for the kids to swim safely but deep enough to fish from the bank. It was great watching some of them reel in their first fish. The Living room and bedrooms were spacious. The kitchen was well equipped to handle our family's cooking needs and room for 3-4 cooks. Having three bathrooms was especially convenient with so many little ones. We also picked strawberries close by at Sweet Berry Farm outside Marble Falls. Great fun for the kids and adults. Thank you to the owners for sharing their vacation property with us. We look forward to visiting again in the future.
