Spring brings back the birds and their melodies.: This is a lovely time to visit. It's warm but not hot. The beaches are open and uncrowded. You will love bicycling around town, kayaking in the river and saltwater ponds and eating homemade ice cream down the road at the Sundae School parlor. Everything is green and fresh.
We bought over 2 acres in this amazing neighborhood that our children could run free in and play with kids their own age. It was our dream come true. The children are grown up now and come back often. It is still a wonderful place to live and we are fortunate to have two houses here. We have great neighbors and love to walk, bike and kayak in the river. We have always felt safe here.
We wake up to the birds singing and can hear the surf at Nauset beach when it's UP. It's a quiet and peaceful neighborhood that is just beautiful. There is a large yard to play in and it is off the beaten path. A saltwater pond is a 5 minute walk where the kids can swim or you can go kayaking.
On rainy days play foosball or ping pong in the basement. Pick fresh herbs outside your door or just relax on the private deck. There is a hammock to relax in or chaises to lie on.
5 minutes to Nauset Beach, village shopping, post office, and restaurants. 5 minute walk to saltwater swimming and boating. Golf, bike, or hike the park; canoe, kayak or sail on the water; striper or tuna fish for the day; attend a free Cape Cod Baseball league game; all this within 5 miles.
Visit Truro winery, Wellfleet art galleries, Provincetown whale watches, dune rides or shopping, Chatham seal watches, day trip to Nantucket or Martha's Vineyard or just relax at the beaches.
