Oceanside Beach Cottage with Private Backyard

We had a 'sisters vacation' that from start to finish was easy to schedule with the owner available to us at any time. The cottage is just like the pictures--casual, comfortable and immaculate! It has a perfect location for going to the beach. Harvey Cedars has done a wonderful job replenishing the beach and improving access. We grilled most nights, but did enjoy Kubels and the Buckelew Tavern for dinner on two occasions. Kelly's was great for breakfast! It was nice to have such a quiet retreat to use as home base. Shopping and other activities were close--if we were so inclined. When I commented to the owner that we didn't track too much sand into the house, he laughed and said, "It's a beach house...it's supposed to have sand in it!"

We've been "going down the Shore" for more than 20 years and this is by far, the best week we've ever had. This beach home is lovely, cozy, immaculately clean and a joy to stay in. We were steps from the beach, we walked to Neptune's Market for a newspaper and some light breakfast, restaurants and ice cream shops were a hop and a skip away, and we enjoyed evenings under the fairy lights in the backyard hammock.

The Harvey Cedars/Loveladies beach is newly restored and we enjoyed a tidal pool complete with starfish and sand dollars. The owners were friendly, answered our questions, and gave us contact numbers for follow up. Thanks for such an enjoyable stay. We'll be back next year!!

House was in a great location - literally less than a block to the beach, and just a couple blocks away from a convenience store. It was really well kept up, comfortable, and had all the pieces you need for a quiet break. Mark was really helpful and responsive in answering all questions, and making sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely stay there again.
