Cute Cape cottage with a sun room and patio. House has a huge yard with an ocean view of Town beach. The living room has a fireplace for a chilly evening. Little Compton is very quiet and peaceful. The house is on a dead end road with light traffic for more quiet. The yard is very private behind the house and has a fenced in outside shower. The master bedroom has a king size bed, the second bedroom has a bunk bed with a queen size on the bottom and a twin on the top. There are 2 bathrooms one with a tub/shower and the other with a shower. There is a washer/dryer in the basement. Floors are hardwood and have been newly refinished except the kitchen which has ceramic tile. You can see the town beach from the house and there is also a town 'dog beach' on Sakonnet point.

Nearest Beach: beach at 0.5 Miles
Car: necessary
The town beach is an easy walk or buy a weekly parking pass for $25 and drive down. The beach goes for miles so you can be alone if you're willing to walk it. Little Compton is a great area to roller blade, bike and golf. The town center (the commons) is 2 miles and has a general store and a restaurant. The Stone House restaurant is close by and you can join for a minimal fee and eat at the barn or tavern. Beautiful Newport with its' mansions is 30 minutes away and Providence is 40 minutes. Greys ice cream which was listed in Gourmet magazine is in Tiverton. The Westport and Sakonnet Vineyards are also open for tours and wine tasting. The local corn on the cob is available in August and is to die for.

Cute Cape cottage with a sunroom and outdoor patio. House has a huge yard with an ocean view of the Town beach. The living room has a fireplace for a chilly evening. Little Compton is very quiet and peaceful. The house is on a dead end, single lane road with light traffic for even more quiet. Little Compton is a very safe town off the beaten path with excellent restaurants. Some PLACES OF INTEREST are the Commons, The Sakonnet Wine Vineyards (daily tours, and tasting), and Newport. Daytrips to Cape Cod, Martha's Vineyard, and Block Island are reasonable. Two nearby wineries and a brewery to visit. The town has 2 beaches. One can be seen from the house and the other is a Dog beach at Sakonnet point for the pooches to swim at.

WALKING, BICYCLING, and ROLLER BLADING are a joy on the flat, beautiful roads and paths in Little Compton(bring your own equipment)! There are TENNIS courts in town, near the common which are rarely used and available to summer residents. GOLF is 15 miles away in Portsmouth. Newport is only about 20 minutes away with it's tours of the local mansions.
