Wellfleet, Cape Cod - Comfortably sleeps 5 people. Clean 'free standing' cottage/ condo set in nature under pines and oak trees. This property has a deck that overlooks a small scenic fresh water pond where you can enjoy the morning paper or an afternoon barbeque. This is not a swimming pond. There are 3 bedrooms each with cathedral ceilings. One of the 1st floor bedrooms has a queen-size bed, and the other has 2 twin beds. There is a spiral staircase that leads to a full-size upstairs bedroom/ loft. The downstairs has a great fireplace living room and a nicely appointed kitchen. Each cottage is privately situated and connected to the others by a boardwalk. Many conveniences including deck, grill, and on-site washer/dryer. The cottage will be stocked with beach necessities including boogie boards and noodles. Centrally located to National Seashore, bay beaches, 25-mile bike trail, and spring fed fresh water kettle ponds which are for swimming.

Centrally located to National Seashore and Town ocean beaches (LeCount Hollow, Cahoon Hollow & the Beachcomber, Marconi, Newcomb Hollow), Cape Cod Bay beaches, Wellfleet Harbor, spring fed Kettle ponds, as well as the Cape Cod bike trail. Take a boat out of Provincetown to go whale watching, listen to steel drums during sunsets at Rock Harbor, or put the kids in their pajamas and head to the movies at the Wellfleet drive-in. For the fishermen, you can go surf casting at any of the ocean beaches or take a short drive to Herring Cove, Race Point or Chatham lighthouse. There is also a commercial fishing fleet at Wellfleet harbor or nearby Orleans Rock harbor. Birdwatchers and hikers can walk miles of nature trails at the Audubon society, Cape Cod National Seashore, or Monomoy Island National Wildlife Refuge. Cyclists and roller bladers can enjoy the miles of bike trails that go from Wellfleet to Dennis.

This cozy cottage is tucked away in South Wellfleet with short drives to Wellfleet Harbor, Town Center, ocean beaches, fresh water ponds or the bay! Wellfleet harbor is the home of the WHAT theatre featuring nighttime shows and activities, a skateboard park, tennis and basketball courts, casual and fine dining restaurants. The Ocean beaches and the famous Beachcomber club and restaurant are within a 5 minute drive. Although the pond behind your cottage is not for swimming, Wellfleet has many freshwater ponds which are. Rent a kayak, go hiking, stroll the art galleries, visit the Audobon, go the the drive-in to catch a double feature, you will not run out of fun activities to do while visiting here! and don't forget to enjoy the world famous Wellfleet oyster!

Perfect spot for our family vacation!

We could not have asked for a nicer cottage to spend our 1 week of summer vacation in. The cottage exceeded our expectations. We were a little concerened that the address was actually "State Highway" but once we arrived we were relieved to see that the way it had been explained to us was the way it actually was. The cottage is in the woods below Route 6 and when we sat out on the deck, which is behind the cottage overlooking the pond- we had no idea we were anywhere near Route 6. There was a nice sense of privacy and we enjoyed relaxing on that deck almost every night. Some nights we grilled our dinner and some nights we went to nearby restaurants. The other nice thing was how close we were to the Cape Cod Bike trail. Just a short ride along Route 6 brought us to LeCount Hollow Road and the beginning of the bike trail. A great place to ride with the kids. All in all, we found the cottage to be comfy and clean and will definitely try to make it back again next year!

Charming Condo

We had a lovely time staying here. The pictures don’t do it justice. The condo is spacious and well appointed. There is a great deck overlooking a kettle pond. The wooden walkways around the property are beautiful for walking or having your kids ride their bikes or scooters. We were just minutes away from downtown Wellfleet as well as great beaches like Newcomb Hollow and Cahoun Hollow.

Wellfleet Hideaway

Our stay at Deck 2 was more than we could have hoped for. My family and I loved the woodsy feeling of the whole area and it made us feel like we were far away from any big city which was just what we were looking for. We learned though that we really were only minutes from Wellfleet which is a lovely town with many galleries and craft shops that we had great fun exploring. The cabin was a wonderful find and had all the amenities that we needed. I would highly recommend to others a visit to Deck 2 and we hope to be back again very soon!

Charming cottage in Wellfleet

We had the pleasure of staying at this lovely cottage. We enjoyed the quiet and peaceful surroundings it afforded us. It reminded us of Walden’s Pond. The cottage was very roomy and had privacy with two bedrooms and a loft up above. One could sit at the kitchen table or on the big deck where we grilled and enjoyed drinks. Wellfleet center with its many shops and restaurants were minutes away. There are so many beaches nearby. Our favorite pond was Long Pond.
