Sleeps six, 2 bedrooms,1 full bathroom

This lovely home is a 3 minute walk from Pemaquid Beach and Fort William Henry on the Pemaquid Peninsula in mid-coast Maine. Originally, this building was the Pemaquid Beach Community Club, built in 1932 by determined neighborhood women. It has 10' tin ceilings, beautiful maple floors and vintage light fixtures. Restored and renovated, the home is charming,comfortable and spacious with beautiful gardens. This home was designed with children in mind, and has plenty of room even on rainy days!

Screened front porch facing west, sunny back porch. Fully equipped eat-in kitchen with a sunny 10' window seat . Enormous living room - 4 couches, easy chairs. Upstairs bedroom 30' x 20', has king bed, 2 twin beds and comfortable sitting area. Downstairs bedroom has queen bed. Linens, towels, cable TV, DVD player.Cottage heated.

Washer,dryer.

Small,well behaved dogs allowed for an extra fee and only after clearing it with the owners.

We love this cottage!

My husband, well behaved dog and I have been staying at this cottage for a week every year, since 2004. Rog and Dottie have created a "home away"--the cottage suits us perfectly.

We love the cottage's: cleanliness, screened in porch, cheerful color scheme, the short walk to the beach, the wonderful restaurants nearby, beautiful landscaping, wireless access, washer and dryer, the charm/history of the cottage... and much more!

Rog and Dottie, the "landlords," have become friends.They are gracious hosts, always available to make sure we are having a great time.

Our only regret has been that we've stayed just one week, not two. We hope to remedy that problem in the year ahead!

We offer our enthusiastic recommendation for the "Charming Vintage Maine Cottage."
