Enjoy this cozy, family cottage atmosphere with the Hammock River view and a fireplace. Relax on the screened-in front porch to see the sun set while geese and ducks land on the river. Sunbathe on the back deck and then enjoy the 3 season hot tub. The small backyard has plenty of privacy and shady spots too. Because this small community is on a peninsula, you can walk to one of two beaches. The first is sandy and has picnic table and a boat launch, the second is more natural and connects with the expansive town beach. Bring your kayak and go to Hammonasset State Park or to Cedar Island. This is a quiet family get away. The cottage has three bedrooms. There is a washer and dryer in basement. There are two single beds, one trundle bed, a queen and a sleep sofa. The neighbors live there year-round and are very nice. Be part of the Harbor View vacationers by renting this cottage at 24 Kelsey Drive.

Off Season Rentals: The cottage is winterized and has a fire place. We invite academic rentals for the off season. Moving and need a furnished cottage? Coming north/south for holidays? Going to a wedding in the area? Traveling to the United States? Consider renting the cottage.

Please note: due to the demand, there are higher rates for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Seasonal Rentals: Rates for June, July and August are higher and preference is given to long rentals. Return renters are also given preference, if they indicate their return visit by the preceding January.

Visit New London and see the Nautilus submarine or go to Mystic Seaport or the casinos!

My husband and I are from Deep River,CT and now live in Arizona. We wanted to visit our friends and family,but still have a nice place of our own to stay at and enjoy the beach.
When we arrived the house was very clean and had almost every amenity needed or wanted.The only thing we wished we had was WIFI.The furniture was in good condition and we had plenty of room for our family of four. The area is lovely and the yard was adorable. It was only a short walk away to the small,but wonderful beach.Perfect for a family.
The neighbors are friendly,but a little too nosy for my taste.
The owners are very friendly and were always prompt to respond to any questions during my property search. I also received my refundable deposit back in a timely manner. I would definitely want to rent this property again.

Absolutely enjoyed every minute of my stay at Salty Dog. The cottage is spacious, tastefully decorated and very clean. Nice deck out back and a pretty yard. The listing description is spot on and the owner provides excellent customer service. There's a nice shade tree in the front yard that's nice to walk back to after spending time at the beach. The beach is a 2 minute walk and a great place to read and tan. There are a lot of friendly folks taking walks in the neighborhood and just a great place that you don't want to leave!
Owner's Response: We are pleased to know that the cottage and the harbor area met the needs of this renter. There is so much to do in the Clinton area. We always hope the renters enjoy the area, take time to relax, and see the sunset on the water.

There is nothing like a muffin from Malone's in downtown Clinton and returning to the cottage with a New York Times on a Sunday morning. The front enclosed porch is cool, airy and quiet. Some jazz in the background and a second cup of coffee complete the scene.
