So pleased!

Our family stayed at the home last year, late July. We were instantly in love with the charm and the character of the home. It felt as if we had been asked to visit the home of a dear relative, not a rental!
Obviously, the home is not the Hilton, but if you are looking for charm and a feeling of "home" then this is the place.
Don't bother to pack all the pots, pans, cutlery, or a coffee maker, everything in your home kitchen is already there, including soap for the top of the line washer and dryer!
We were able to save tons of money by bringing food we had bought on sale, frozen and transported. The outdoor charcoal grill was so handy. Lobsters and steaks every night!
Additionally, being so close to the beach we were able to enjoy biking there (with our own libation) each day rather than driving and parking.
Parking can be rough, so bring your bike, the route is easy and only a few blocks through wonderful neighborhoods.
The home is wonderful, the cottage is a super spot for our teenagers to make their own "apartment" for the week, it has its own bath and kitchenette, so you might never see your kids!
Our favorite amenity was the romantic, peaceful outdoor shower. It is huge and private. I don't think anyone actually used the indoor shower!
We found the area to be very artsy and friendly. We felt the teenage girls could go out shopping or to the beach without worry. We don't allow them out at night unchaperoned, but never felt that the area was unsafe at any time of day.
The beaches were packed, but the people all seemd to be happy vacationers, not rowdy or rude. Beach umbrellas and chaises are available for rent at the beach.
The waves and current were some of the strongest I have seen, it was exhilarating but I wouldn't let go of any child in the waves. Plenty of life life-guards, but I am a terrific swimmer and even I lost my footing a few times.
The house was impeccably clean! I am a picky, neat-freak and I could not find a speck of dirt!
Please treat the home with respect so we may all enjoy it again in the future!
There is a small farmers market just up the road about three blocks with wonderful heirloom veggies at great prices.
We took an eco-tour kayak trip at sunset, which was spectacular. The kids loved the para-sailing, and mini-golf at one of the nearby "resort" towns.
Crabby Dick's Restaurant was fun, even found beignets, shopping was eclectically superb, wish I had space to write more!
Hope to get there again!
