Only a short walk to the free shuttle service..

Hike the many trails in Acadia National Park, go whale watching, rent kayaks and explore the lakes and coastal areas, eat lobster, visit the wonderful shops in town, take your pick of many great restaurants, relax and do nothing, relax and swim at Sand Beach, go to the movies at the recently renovated 1920's Criterion Theatre, or watch a movie as you eat pizza at Reel Pizza, or when it's all said and done you could just eat a lobster.

Let's put it this way... if we could stay, we'd still be there!!! The cottage house we stayed in [two adults, three teenage girls] was just FIRST CLASS !!! The owners were first class, their home was perfect to the detail!!! HIGHLY recommended to others already!!! Bar Harbor, has so many attractions, restaurants, and "activities"' it's hard to list them all !!! Be sure to go to the Morning Glory Cafe.....Jordans Restaurant for breakfast....The Brown bag cafe...Geddy's and on and on and on... make sure to see Cadillac mountain at sunset and again at sunrise...STUNNING!!!!!!!!....Bar Island at low tide ...Beech mt cliffs and on and on and on ...overall ..... with the rental and attractions a 5 plus for excellent!!!!!
