Chalet, 1 Bedroom + Loft, 1.5 Baths, (Sleeps 6-7)

Serene 4 season lodging 6 miles from Whiteface Mtn, High Peaks and 1/2 hr from Lake Placid. Located on a quiet cul-de-sac. The deck offers views of Whiteface and vistas of the High Peaks across open pasture. The 'best seat ' may be from the deck or the Adirondack rustic chairs on the lower covered patio off the master B/R suite. The Chalet has a fully equipped kitchen and informal seating. The dining area offers great views. The L/R includes a fireplace, cable TV with DVD, VCR; pull-out queen size couch and a circular stair to the loft which has three twin beds (or 1 twin & 1 king), dresser, closet and cable TV. Adults and children alike enjoy this cozy getaway at the top of the house. There is 1 full bath and a 1/2 bath as well as a complete laundry room.

Wireless is available throughout the Chalet and surrounding exterior.

The lower level consists of a full bath with shower/tub combo as well as the master bedroom suite including a king size bed, walk-in closet, sitting area with second fireplace, cable TV with VCR and walk-out to patio. Come experience the Adirondacks in this great home and we're sure you'll want to return.

Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency () unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.

    * A refundable security/damage deposit is required on all rentals.
    * Two (2) night rentals require a $150.00 security/damage deposit. Rentals of three (3) or more nights require a $250.00 security/damage deposit.
    * Security/damage deposits are returned after the Chalet is cleaned, within 24/48 hours of departure.
  • Paypal is available for all who would like to pay using a credit card. No paypal membership is required. We will send you a secure link so you can finalize the transaction. Your security deposit will be refunded after check-out/inspection using the same method in reverse. A cleaning fee of applies to all rentals. $60 for parties of two (2) guests. $75 for parties of three (3) or more guests.

Stayed here in early October (just in time to see leaves in full Fall color!) with two adults and three grown kids, for a long weekend away. Found the 'chalet' to be just as it was described on Homeaway... Clean, spacious enough for our group, accommodating, nicely located and only 15-30 minutes to Whiteface, Lake Placid, and Ausable Chasm. Extras included towels/linens; all pots/pans/dishes/glassware one could want; dishwasher; washer/dryer; basic foodstuffs in the pantry; brand new grill on back deck; wood supplied to burn in the fireplace; selection of board games; TV/DVD player and DVD selection; wifi; rental instructions and library of maps/local restaurant menus... All the comforts of home.) Beautiful views off back deck(s). Easy to deal with rental owners. And a reasonable price, to be sure. We'll be back someday!

Perfect Getaway in the Adirondacks!

The Chalet was perfect for our long weekend in the Adirondacks. Located in Upper Jay, it's perfectly situated between Lake Placid, the High Peaks and Lake Champlain. Upper Jay also offers a less touristy and more authentic experience. Overall, the building was PERFECT - it sleeps up to 8 people and is equipped with EVERYTHING you could ever need in the Adirondacks! I highly recommend!

This rental could NOT be beat in any way, shape, or form. What an amazing time we had. The owners could not have been any more accomodating. Everything was immaculate, and just as described. My only regret was that we never got a chance to meet the owners to thank them personally. I'd love to be the President of their Tennant's Association!

What a place!
The chalet was wonderful, there is a lot of space,
with all the conveniences, a great fireplace, a BBQ...
It was very clean, provided with all you can need
and Mike and Mini left no stone unturned to make
you comfortable.
It was exactly like the ads! No tricks, no lies.
The surroundings were also marvelous. So peaceful,
so quiet... and a lot of opportunities to hike. Just
gorgeous!
With a special mention to Paul's Bakery!
We will definitely come back again!
