This 5 bedroom home was built in 2000. The inside is clean, spacious, and comfortable. The kitchen is very big. For additional photos, send me an email!

There are 36 acres of property to roam, with 3200 feet of water frontage. There is vegetation (trees and blueberry bushes) right up to the waters edge, with a nice dock area. The house and the waterfront are on different sides of Songo Pond Road. Behind the house, there are some rugged trails and logging roads to roam around on. The logging roads were last used in 1998, so there are some young trees filling some of the walkways. The White Mountain National Forest is just to the south.

Not only is the house located on a beautiful pond, with abundant wildlife, fishing, and great swimming... but there are area outfitters offering canoeing, fly fishing, mountain biking, horseback riding, and more. There is a movie theater, bowling lanes, mini-golf, water slides, climbing gym, and 3 floors of laser tag! Pack up the car and go Moose-watching, visit some of the areas unique swimming holes, drive to the top of Mount Washington.

Bethel is located about 65 miles from Portland, ME and some of the most beautiful beaches along the Maine coast. Just North of Portland is Freeport, ME, home of the original L.L. Bean store, open 24 hours. The White Mountain National Forest is only a few miles from Bethel, and the house is approximately 50 miles east of North Conway, NH... a mountain village with abundant tax free outlet shopping!

So, there is a lot to do and see in the area.

We loved it

12 of us stayed at this home. Everyone loved it.
We had a toddler, 2 pre teens, 3 teenagers and the rest were adults. There was enough room for all of us. The beds upstairs were very comfortable. The beds in the 2 bedrooms downstairs were not good...that was my only complaint.
The location was great, however the GPS did not work in the area. Make sure you print out the directions. We did so much in the area and never had enough time to use the pond.
We loved Sunday River, lots to do even in the summer time.
You must visit Step Falls not too far from Sunday River, absolutely beautiful falls.
Will I rent this place again? You better believe I would.

Whenever I had a question, the owners were a phone call away.

Thank you for letting us use your home.

Again, we all loved it.

Great Place, Great owner!

Place was perfect; just as described. Owner was very friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed many of the summer activities such as grilling, swimming across the road at the private dock, and sitting by a fire. There is plenty of parking and lawn space. I would recommend this place to anybody. I could see this place as a great place to rent out during the winter time as well.

Great Vacation

We have stayed at this house two summers in a row. The location is perfect for everything we want to do on a Maine vacation. The Pond is wonderful for swimming and canoeing. The seaside is a short drive as well as the mountains. Plenty of outlet shopping for rainy days! We have kids ranging in age from 10-16 and thay all love it.
Recommended for:  Adventure Seekers, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children

Luxurious and modern, a beautiful place

I stayed at this property last winter, and I plan on another stay this winter.

The house itself is beautiful and modern, very well-kept unlike some other rental houses I've seen in the area at comparable prices.

There is lots of privacy, but it has great access to Sunday River and Bethel. There were no issues related to accessing the property, unlike some other places with long, winding driveways that aren't plowed properly.

Overall, it's been a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend it.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
