Breathtaking views and sounds of the ocean, private beach and the adjacent state park. Absolutely fabulous location that is very close to the ocean front. Walk 50 steps to the private family oriented beach. Relax on your choice of two large back decks (one off the living room and one off of the master bedroom) that overlook the ocean and state park. Experience our recently furnished beach home including 8 new mattresses, 3 new beds, new refrigerator, new washer/dryer and new TV/DVD. Fully equipped kitchen with new dishes. Separate dining room. Tennis courts and a small, new playground for toddlers are available within a short walking distance. Front deck affords an enjoyable view of friends and family playing tennis or children playing at the small playground. Enjoy a crab feast at the covered pavilion adjoining the small playground. Private parking is out front, and a private backyard. If you love the beach, then you will thoroughly enjoy our beach home.

If you are looking to inject some excitement into a quiet beach vacation, then there are numerous local attractions that are available for your entertainment. Bethany beach board walk is 3 miles South of the beach home. It has fabulous dining, shopping and arcade. Ocean City is 30 minutes South of the beach home. Outlet shopping is available off of Route 1. Water slides, batting cages, bumper boats, putt putt golf and activity pools are all nearby in one facility. Antique shopping is available. Golfing is available within 10 minutes. Grocery stores and movie theaters are all nearby. Deep sea fishing chartered boats are available within 10 minute drive. Visit Fenwick Lighthouse Museum and the Bethany Life Guard Museum. Enjoy a day of sailing, or jet skis at the nearby yacht club.

It has a 170 square foot deck off of it with the same beautiful views. 1st floor bedroom has cable TV in it with a half bath that can sleep four. 3rd floor bedroom can sleep 4 people with a full bathroom off of it. Master bedroom has flat screen cable TV.

Great Family Vacation

Our three kids (all under 10) and our teenage niece all loved the townhouse. Plenty of room to be together.... or not. Very clean and comfortable. The full kitchen with a dishwasher made eating breakfast in easy. We enjoyed grilling out and eating on one of the decks with views of the ocean and dunes. View from the master bedroom was wonderful and peaceful. The outdoor shower and laundry area in the front entrance was great to keep the sand out of the house! Rental has beach chairs and umbrellas and is a short walk to the beach. Cute playground and tennis courts across the way that you can see from the front deck.
Beach is large with plenty of room to play beach games or just make sand castles. All but our youngest enjoyed the waves and boogie boarding! Sandy bottom and only waist deep for quite a way out. We saw dolphins every day!
The town of Bethany is cute but not much to do. We would not recommend The Frog House restaurant.
We enjoyed Rehobeth Beach (about 10 miles north) and their boardwalk. Bring lots of quarters for parking!! The boardwalk has an amusement park with something for all ages (even our 3 year old). We ate at Grotto Pizza two different nights. It is really good pizza, something that we could all agree on, and wasn't too pricey. We also had a great meal at The Summer House. We went before 6pm and missed the long line of families coming to eat.
We had fantastic crab cakes at the Fenwick House (on Fenwick Island a few miles south).


The property owners were very accommodating and helpful.
We would recommend this property to a friend.
Owner's Response: We hope that others who stay at our beach house experience the same enjoyment and relaxation that this family had. We have worked very hard to make the house comfortable, attractive and equipped with the amenities that a typical family would expect and use. Every time that we use the beach house we try to think how others would use it and make the necessary improvements.
