Attractive and spacious, three floor, five + bedroom cottage in a rural setting on the west branch of the Westport River, on a quiet lane just two miles from the ocean. Two bedrooms and one full bath on each of the two lower floors, additional bedroom and full bath on top floor. Dining area next to the kitchen. Cathedral ceiling opens to the spacious main living area; large family room with TV on the ground floor. Plenty of room for everyone. Tranquil one acre lot, surrounded by woods and stone walls. Unspoiled views of the river from the decks and the living room. Public boat launch is just 1.5 miles up the road. 300 foot walk to a set of wooden stairs provides access down to the west branch of the gorgeous Westport River.

Discover the charming village of Westport Point, featuring lovely examples of 18th Century New England seaside architecture, and working fishing boats. Local fresh fish markets. Excellent local dining at the Back Eddy Restaurant, Bittersweet Farms, The Westporter, and Village Pizza, plus dozens of fine eateries in nearby New Bedford, and Providence, RI. Explore the many shops in Tiverton Four Corners and adjacent coastal villages. Lots of fine shopping in nearby Padenaram & the North Dartmouth Mall complex. Delicious homemade ice cream at Gray's in Tiverton Four Corners. Antique shops abound throughout the area; several local galleries feature local artisians.

Notes: 2 queens, 1 double, 6 twins. Although the house is not 'child proofed', (that is, no special cabinet latches), it does feature a child friendly upstairs loft area, with games, toys, and drawing / writing desk; and also a downstairs family / TV room. Beach toys provided. Croquet set and badminton set for backyard fun. Starting supply of paper goods, toilet paper, paper plates, paper towels, kleenex, will be provided. As well as the basic kitchen utensils noted above, the Kitchen also has a salad spinner; 2 glass pie pans; 2 Brownie pans 9' x 9'; a rectangular baking pan: 14' x 10'; 3 cookie sheets; a well sealed cookie jar; various tupperware storage containers.
