This year-round home is nestled in a wooded cove on Little Sebago Lake, deep in the Maine Lakes Region, near the end of a dead-end tarred road. Enjoy your morning coffee and newspaper on the private dock while overlooking pristine Little Sebago. The house has an open floor plan with a cathedral ceiling, full bath, 2 bedrooms (1 queen with cable TV, 1 full). The dining/living area has 2 large picture windows overlooking the lake with a pull out sofa bed (full) and cable TV/VCR and lots of movies. Wooden spiral stairs lead to the loft with 2 twin beds. The sandy swimming area gradually deepens and is just 20 feet from the house. Only 52' at its deepest, the lake reaches 70 degrees during the month of June and is 6 miles long. Just 30 minutes from the Maine Mall, the Portland Jetport and L.L. Bean in Freeport. We are centrally located between Lewiston and Portland, 2 of Maine's largest cities offering fine dining and shopping. For golfers we are just 10 minutes from 2 18 hole golf courses -- Spring Meadows right here in Gray and Point Sebago (#1 rated course in Southern Maine). The Maine Wildlife Park is just a 5 minute drive the perfect place to bring a picnic lunch and enjoy the animals. We will provide a folder of local brochures to give you ideas including movie theaters, fun parks, boat rentals, etc. Kayaks, canoes and bikes can be rented and delivered from Windham.

Further details for this vacation house rental in Gray, Maine

The loons are regular visitors to the cove usually around dusk and at least once per summer I have seen eagles pluck fish from the water just yards from the end of the dock. This is the fourth summer we have rented this gem and we would love to start an annual tradition by sharing our home with a variety of folks year after year. We are also looking for off season rental this year Sept, Oct or Nov through June, call for more info

We spent a wonderful weekend at this place. The house is very well equipped and clean. Our kids loved to play outside. They could run through the woods, ride their bikes or play in the water while we sat in the sun and just relaxed...
We particularly loved the view of the lake while sitting at the dining table!
It is a great place for families with small kids. There is also some extra space upstairs in case that your family is bigger than ours!
We would also recommend this house as a nice romantic getaway - it is a very peaceful place.
The owners were nice and helpful. They provided us with information on the area as well as detailed directions so that we were able to find our way without any problem.

We had a wonderful time at the house. It was peaceful, the lake was warm (full of fish too -- a very exciting experience for first time anglers). A perfect place for kids as well -- watching my 6 year old learn to swim there was amazing. The wild-life is beautiful and approachable too. We ahd a wonderful week.
