Comfortable, with new (spring 08) kitchen and appliances including dishwasher, table with seating for 6, and 'breakfast bar' that is open to the living room with comfortable seating/daybeds, flat screen TV, two air conditioned bedrooms each with closet and storage chest, screened porch, stone patio with grill and picnic area, an outdoor hot & cold shower, clothes reel and ample parking. Bed linens and bath towels provided, as are kitchen basics. This house and the adjacent house (listing #181990) are perfect for friends and family!

Being on Plum Island is great, sleeping 300 feet from the ocean is better and being on the last street before the Parker River Refuge entrance is the best! Grab a bike or a fishing pole, a camera or beach chair and be at your destination in minutes. This is one great rental cottage, a hidden quiet gem, with better parking than some of the multi-million dollar properties that surround it. The Owner and family are the most gracious hosts, and the property is clean and continually improved. This is my 4th vacation here and I will not look elsewhere unless I have to!

We had a great experience renting this location. The property is kept very clean. While the weather was uncooperative for a vacation we were thankful to be in a comfortable place that helped make it easier to pass the time. Being a close walk to one beach and a short drive from another we were able to get in some beach time and make it back quick when it got too cold and wet. The kids really enjoyed their stay here. The owner is extremely nice and friendly and a pleasure to rent from. Looking forward to going back again, hopefully with better weather...

perfect family vacation

We really enjoyed staying here for our vacation. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful. The property was exactly as described. It was very clean and well maintained. My 2 young children loved staying here. We enjoyed our trips to 2 different beaches that were close by (1 a short walk and 1 a short drive) and Newburyport. We enjoyed being close to the places we wanted to go and also having a comfortable place to relax when needed or when the weather didn't cooperate with our plans. It was the perfect vacation for us...can't wait to book for next year.
