Fantastic location and unit! GREAT views of the Intracoastal Waterway, and the ocean is across the street.
Best of all, it is a ground floor unit shielded from road noise. No lugging of suitcases or groceries up stairs or onto an elevator, never feel hemmed in by balcony rails. You enjoy a very open access feeling – your lanai opens onto a sunny patio, then lawn and the docks beyond. The ocean is across the road (A1A).
Located in a small upscale development, the unit is clean and well equipped. Wi-fi, high definition 'smart tv' and DVD in LR, smaller flat screen tv in master bedroom (with DVD player built in). Queen bed in master, twins in guest bedroom, well-stocked kitchen, dining room, full-size washer and dryer, garage as well as near door parking, a pool and access to the docks and the gazebo. Flagler Beach is a rare find -- one of the last little seaside old-Florida towns that has protected its great Atlantic views (no shoulder-to-shoulder high rises here!) No buildings block your view of the sea as you drive or stroll along historic A1A.
And Marina Bay is unique in Flagler with its fantastic location between the intracoastal and the Atlantic.
Enjoy a picturesque, laid-back town, yet within easy distance of many attractions and activities... Flagler Beach is unhurried, uncrowded, friendly and clean, and one of the best kept secrets in Florida!
There was absolutely nothing you could complain about -- the condo is very well appointed, it was super clean, the view is fabulous, and the beach is right there. It was light, bright, and everything was very comfortable. The price was very reasonable, and the owner treated me like a friend. Marina Bay (the condo complex) is well maintained, and felt homey and classy. Flagler Beach was also very enjoyable -- we especially liked the Turtle Shack (a small, beachside, low key restaurant within easy walking distance). Try the Avocado egg rolls, they're to die for! But all their food is good. Saw lots of dolphins both directly outside of the condo, and also in the ocean. Loved the condo, and miss the ocean already!
This is our second stay in this unit. We have been very satisfied. The unit is well stocked with all the essentials. If you enjoy cooking the kitchen is well equipped, with pots, pans and dishes, flatware, all types of glasses. There is everything to get started with, paper products, cleaning supplies, etc. The beds are very comfortable, there are plenty of towel and linens.
The view of the intercostal waterway is wonderful and relaxing, the beach is also relaxing. In
the garage there is everything you will need for the beach.
We were here the first time in December 2013 and the second time in September 2014, both times were great. We hope to come back again.

We're staying the month of April, and we walked into a spotless, elegant vacation home. It's roomy and so so comfortable. Everything is here that we need. It's hard choosing which vacation rental you want to stay at, sometimes pictures can be deceiving, but not in your case! It's certainly a WOW. Virginia you were so accommodating with all my questions and concerns that I knew I was choosing the right condo for us. The master bedroom is really big and has so many closets. We cook a lot, and the kitchen is perfect. You can even just be sitting in the living room, or working at the sink, and you look out onto the intercostal and see the dolphins each day playing! Lots of movies, books and games too. We love the heated pool, and it's really warm if the day is a little bit chilly. The ocean is a beautiful blue here and very clean. Pelicans fly by constantly, a dozen at a time where you can catch their picture! We are just having a wonderful time. We've made friends at the pool and boardwalk off the screened porch. The sunsets are gorgeous and just steps from your door, how we'll ever leave, I don't know. There's always next year i guess, if I haven't given away all the inside information on your paradise! Love all the restaurants and farmers market too, which are minutes away. We're going to go to Daytona and St. Augustine's for day trips, cause they're close by if we can pry ourselves away from here.......
I have stayed at this Marina Bay waterfront property many times and in many different seasons. It's always great fun and a comfortable & convenient place to stay. I'm a beach-lover and it's awesome to be able to walk to the beach so easily. But, it's just as enjoyable to hang out at the condo and relax inside or on the screened porch or the outside porch and enjoy the most gorgeous Marina sunsets that I've ever seen! The choices for relaxing at the condo are wonderful: big comfortable inside furniture, outside fun patio furniture, and a garage full of choices for bike-riding, beach-going, or sightseeing. The owners have thought of everything to make your stay successful (and, if you think that they've missed something, they listen to you and add it before your next visit!) The condo is always sparkling clean and ready when I get there and it's easy to unpack on the first floor, not to mention how easy it is to get groceries in as well. The laundry room is an added plus, especially in the summer when I come & go from the beach and/or pool daily.
Close by are wonderful restaurants and parks and the adorable & friendly little town of Flager Beach. Always something to do and/or explore!
You will also experience the joy of marine life, not just oceanfront, but also in the marina. The dolphins love to come in there to play and you will also be entertained, depending on the season by manatees, all kinds of pelicans and other sea fowl, raccoons, rabbits, exotic lizards, and more!! It's an experience to visit there.
I've NEVER had a bad visit and I've also been there for two hurricanes. Very safe and well-prepared for inside entertainment (movies, books, games, etc.) if necessary.
Almost hate to share this review as it's my favorite "home away from home" and I'd rather keep it to myself, but they deserve the good review.
The condo is beautiful (both location and furnishings). Our family of four had plenty of room and really appreciated the efficient kitchen and large dining room for meals at home. The view from the lanai on to the Intra-Coastal Waterway is extra special, especially at sundown; and if you're really lucky, the manatees will stop by. Just crossing the highway puts you on the beach, but if you prefer, you can do your swimming in the complex pool.
Flagler Beach is a great place to relax and fall into the rhythm of a small Florida town. There's lots of shopping opportunities within minutes of the condo and a terrific multi-screen theatre close by. With St. Augustine to the north and Daytona to the south, you can always get into the city for sightseeing if you wish.
Dining in Flagler Beach offers something for everyone. Our family enjoyed fresh seafood, authentic Italian pizza and salads, delicious burgers and yummy bagels during our stay. It was fun to sit at a rooftop restaurant and watch the waves roll in.
The condo is inviting and quiet. We found it clean and in excellent condition. We really liked that the unit was on the ground floor - convenient for settling in and unloading groceries, etc. The condo owners have provided a great library of DVD's and books which are perfect if you encounter a rainy afternoon or have a quiet evening planned.
You'll find plenty of bedroom space and two full baths as well as a full-sized washer and dryer in the laundry area.
The trip was our second to this Marina Bay condo, but I'm sure it won't be our last! Great place to relax, enjoy the ocean and the sun, and forget your cares for awhile!!
