great location...

Our family of four, including two children, one a teenager and one 29, stayed for three nights. It's a very comfortable cottage, very secluded and far enough off the road to be private. The back is great, including what appears to be a new pool, a hammock, and a dock with kayaks available. The views up and down the cove it's on are lovely. There are enough large trees around for shade and enough open areas for sun. There was a nice gas grill along with candles and an outside fireplace. The cottage is simple but elegant, neat and clean. There are three bedrooms, but for one, in what was formerly an attic, you had to enter another room to get to the upstairs bathroom. The appliances were fine, the televisions were pretty decent with a good number of old movies around to choose from. My chief criticism is the air conditioning which is by window units. Several were loud and it was pretty tough to get the temperature in the third bedroom down to comfortable levels. A great location, just out of town, a stone's throw from the Inn at Perry Cabin and the town's golf course community. It took only a couple of minutes' drive to get into the heart of town and easy to get out and about towards Tilghlman Island. It was, all in all, a great few days and a place we would go back to again.
