Cayman Islands Divers Paradise with Direct Ocean Front

My husband and I and two teenagers stayed in this fabulous condo for 7 days in March 2013. It is larger than it looks online and very clean and attractive. Having three bathrooms was great, especially after we all came back from scuba each day and everyone wanted a shower. The beds are also very comfy. Renters leave items in the kitchen for others to use, as did we, so you are not starting from scratch when you arrive. As eating out is expensive, having the large kitchen is a great benefit. The balcony is large and the view out over the ocean is beautiful, sunrise to sunset. When it was not windy, we snorkeled right out front. It was fun to see all the dive boats lined up along the shoreline each morning. The dive sites are very accessible. The drive to Georgetown was easy (rent a car), and it was nice being near the attractions at the top of the Island as well. Our favourite restaurant was Morgan's Harbour in West Bay. Little extras - there is a cell phone for local calls while on the Island, the wifi is excellent, there is a place to wash your scuba gear outside, and you even have use of the scuba tanks in the unit, as long as you refill. Very comfortable and convenient over all! You won't be disappointed.

Kim's property here at Bonnie's Arch was perfect for our large family group. Clean, comfortable and modern. We had 9 people (including a 2 month old baby) and we had more than enough space. We had two in the master, two in the front bedroom and my wife and I stayed on the bottom bunks while our 4 and 6 year old girls slept on the top bunks and the baby in a pack-n-play. All the beds were high quality, very comfortable. The bunks were very solidly built.

The kitchen and living room have a nice spacious open floor plan with a huge sectional couch that easily accommodated us all. We used the pool a few times. It was very clean and we were the only ones in it. Very quiet place. We even played some tennis next to the condo.

The owners of the condo seem to have everything you need from tennis rackets to beach towels to coolers. Perfect! They are also very responsive to questions. I even emailed them a few times during our trip for advice and Kim got right back to me.

We enjoyed the quiet location of the condo which is just north of the busier 7 mile beach. The condo is only a 5-10 min drive from the many popular locations up and down 7 mile beach. Each day we would pick a new location on the beach to drive to based upon where we wanted to snorkel. Smith's Cove is a can't miss....gorgeous! Cemetery Beach was a great snorkel. Governor's Beach, great part of 7 mile, just ok snorkeling, but nice to be close to the big resorts to grab a bite to eat. Also snorkeled Wreck of the Gamma, very cool. We went to Stingray City...a must! What an experience! We used Captain Marvin's. They had modern boats and were very clean and a great crew. Take the late afternoon trip to avoid the cruise ship mobs.

This was a great location for our family of divers to enjoy our first dive vacation with the kids (teenagers). The location was great. We enjoyed being a bit off of the 7 mile beach traffic but not too far from anything. The biggest challenge was getting used to driving on the "wrong" side of the road in our rental car. We enjoyed waking up to the beautiful ocean view every morning and watching the dive boats right outside the condo as other divers enjoyed the beautiful sites. The ocean off the back deck was a bit too rough for us to try diving on our own so we used a local dive shop (DiveTek) for our diving. DiveTek was very close but we had varied experience with different dive masters - some more attentive than others - especially for our newbie divers (the teenagers). All in all it was a fabulous vacation and we'd highly recommend this for others.
