Located in the heart of the Resort with secluded deck and hot-tub tucked under towering Ponderosas for spectacular star-gazing. Open 2200 square foot design brings the outdoors in with soaring ceilings and banks of windows. Three large bedroom suites (one with bath across hall) will sleep up to 10 guests comfortably. The great room with its stone gas-log fireplace, built-in TV/CD/DVD system, cedar ceilings, cathedral windows, and tasteful furnishings make this a relaxing place to gather at the end of a fun-filled Sunriver day. The large dining table seats 10 and is just steps from the custom oak kitchen. The center island, new appliances, cookware, and a wall of windows create an inviting place for multiple cooks to work. Location, location, location.. you're a 5 minute stroll through the woods to Ft. Rock Park and Tennis Hill. Three large master suites: Two with a queen bed; third with a queen/twin combo and bath just across hall; two additional twins and sleep sofa provide beds for 10. Entertainment centers in every bedroom. A crib and high-chair are provided. The sunny deck spanning the rear of the home, gas BBQ, patio furniture, market umbrella, ping-pong table, 7 bikes, ski storage in the two-car garage all add to your vacation experience. Free pool and tennis, a nearby trail leading to Ft. Rock Park (tennis, hoops, baseball, soccer, play equipment) and a central location near the Woodlands golf fairways and resort pools make this Tan Oak Retreat an excellent choice.

It is with hesitation that I recommend this house, but only because it will be available to us less if I do. But then, that would be selfish.

This is, in our opinion, the 'find' of Sunriver. We have stayed in private rentals for 16 years and this home is the perfect one for us. It includes all the amenities we need for a restful, yet active (when we want) vacation. It is spacious, private, well-equipped, and very attractively decorated.

The owners provide swimming pool passes, good bikes, and the tennis courts are almost in the next lot. Yet we always see quite a bit of wildlife around the house while we are there--deer, quail, coyotes, gray squirrels and ground squirrels, and many birds.

If the calendar doesn't fill too fast, we will spend our third summer vacation there this year. So, as I was saying, I hesitate to recommend this house.....but only because I'm selfish.
