This is a spacious, classic modern 3 bedroom, 2 bath home. It is in excellent condition with plenty of comforts and convenient to all Berkshire attractions. Easy walk to town center and just off Rt 7, but with a secluded feel on nearly 2 acres of gardens and woodlands. Great room with living and dining areas is newly painted. Fully equipped kitchen with new appliances, large screened porch with second dining table (seats 6); spacious master bedroom with lovely views and private bath; second bedroom opens to deck; and third bedroom with sofa bed and study area.
Enjoy park-like acres of grounds bordering the grounds of Canyon Ranch. Amenities include 2 TVs, digital cable, VCR, DVD player and music collection, broadband wireless Internet access (with your computer), A/C in LR and MBR, outdoor grill, and lawn chairs for Tanglewood outings. This house is ideally located for enjoying New England's classic beauty and renowned cultural offerings. It is less than 2 miles from Tanglewood's main gate, and very convenient to the Berkshires many performing arts venues. The Berkshires are rich with cultural opportunities ranging from Mass MoCA in North Adams to the Norman Rockwell Museum in Stockbridge. The Museum of the Gilded Age is a short walk from the house, and many of the other fabled estates are on nearby blocks. There are world-class spas and plenty of shopping and fine-dining options in Lenox as well as in Stockbridge (10 minute drive) and Great Barrington (15 minute drive). Lenox and environs abound with natural beauty. In the summer enjoy lake swimming and boating, hiking, golf, and horseback riding. In the fall, take part in the Berkshires' spectacular show of color, scenic drives, and harvest festivals.
