Waterfront island home located in Vinalhaven, Maine. Picturesque waterfront home with extraordinary views 12 miles off the Maine Coast. From the front deck watch lobstermen haul their traps, Windjammers and schooners sail by, and watch the ferry boat come and go. Hop in the jacuzzi and watch the sunset. Let your children play on the shore and find crabs, periwinkles, clams, and colored sea glass. Put your kayak in the ocean simply by walking across the front lawn and into the water. If you have a boat there are moorings available.

Vinalhaven offers many hiking trails and several parks to visit. Bring your bike and bike to the village, parks, and stop at one of the quarries to take a swim. The quarries (swimming holes) are one of the family favorites. Pack a lunch and go to the beach or one of the parks for a picnic. Vinalhaven has several restaurants and gift stores. You will enjoy the peacefulness and the friendliness of this island community. Go for a leisurely walk to the village or just to be by yourself. Sit back and enjoy your surroundings, time is not a factor.
